DNS ASSAY FOR REDUCING SUGAR

Good day! May I ask if this product (attached photo) can already be used as a DNS reagent, where we would only need to react it with our samples? Our sample is fermentate

Or would it be better po to prepare the DNS reagent ourselves using:
• Sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
• 3,5-Dinitrosalicylic acid powder
• Sodium potassium tartrate tetrahydrate
• Distilled water

Which option would you recommend po? We think the first option may be more cost-effective, but we would also like to know which option would be more appropriate for experiment.
