So… im the Google Workspace admin and marketing roped me into "standardizing signatures" with WiseStamp so we look pro and on brand. Cool in theory. We spent weeks tweaking fonts and banners and all that, then I hit deploy to all employees this morning.
Except I somehow published the wrong template. The one the team used for testing had fake data hard coded. And now every single person in the company is sending emails with the same VP of Marketing name, fake direct line, and a "limited time discount for Q2" banner from an old campaign that finance killed. We have HR folks emailing candidates signed as our VP, engineers pretending to be marketing, even our CEO sending investor updates with a promo strip for a product we sunset last year.
Sales is blowing up my chat, HR is confused, the real VP is mildly amused but im mortified and kinda sick about this. I thought I scoped it to a test OU only and apparently it hit the whole domain. Please tell me other people have nuked their signatures like this and fixed it fast, any hints?
