Starting a day or two ago, computer has been displaying the no internet symbol on the taskbar. I have been unable to use internet for anything other than Google searches and Google applications and a few other common websites (YouTube, gmail, wikipedia). Discord, steam, and Microsoft applications have been unable to connect to anything. The same is true for all the other devices on my network so I've become inclined to beleive its a isp issue maybe?
I have spectrum and I know they have been doing some maintenance in my area but when I called them about it they had no solutions to offer.
Builtin Microsoft networks diagnostics come up with nothing. Ive tried switching dns server, resetting network settings, I've rebooted modem and PC. Ive turned firewall off and on, I've turn off the spectrum shield thing.
It is just so weird and frustrating that I can lose internet access for all but certain sites l.
