Pihole changes clients

Hi all

I have strange behavior of my pihole setup that is attached to unbound, i have fired up this via docker-compose on a ubuntu 26.04 LTS, the current state of affairs is that i have my iphone, my mac plugged in into server via talscale, and everything was working fine more or less, only one strange behavior is happening, pihole for some reason sometimes is registering pihole docker container interface that starts with 127.x.x.x and sometimes it separates the devices per tailscale ip, which im not sure why he is doing.

so at fist everything was funneled trough this virtual switch, now i have 3 different devices, i pretty much don't care, im just curious why he is doing this as i have hit default rate limiter to 1000 per 60 seconds, and i found in docs that this can be disabled via tomlf conf, as my dns crashed.

PS i doubt that switching from 1 interface to 3 different interfaces broke the DNS, maybe, but im more interested in this strange behavior, which is unknown to me.

Any explanation would be appreciated.
