I found myself purchasing Netcup's VPS 500 G12 vServer and since it's a weekend and Germans have allergies to weekend work and anticipating response on a week day next week, I chose to read more offerings as I've previously been on root server that has 99.9% uptime.
Those on vServer plans, do you have any experience with the 99.6% or Netcup is reliable with this as well as the experience I had with the root servers?
FYI: I discovered the 99.6% after submitting, though not an issue to me, I have a small project I need to host on the VPS, so I went with the ipv6-only option as am a heavy user of Cloudflare so I have less worries and ipv4-only services I communicate with I easily use the cloudflare nat64 dns.
Do I need to worry about that uptime? how's the performance of vServer v Root servers. I know there's difference but would appreciate examples. Am not deep into Server management besides small security and project devops, so am not the person to believe will know even how to discover server raw performance besides the terrible plain one I had with Co***** (isn't it obvious?).
