I wanted to share a project I’ve been building called ConnectMyDroid. I’m planning to launch the initial release on the Google Play Store in September 2026, but I’d love to get the community's early feedback on the feature set and architecture before it goes live.

What is ConnectMyDroid?

ConnectMyDroid bridges the gap between Android mobile devices and desktop environments. It enables low-latency continuity, remote interaction, and full synchronization over a local Wi-Fi connection (via mDNS) or a direct USB connection via ADB. Everything is encrypted end-to-end using SSL/TLS with certificate pinning, so your data stays strictly on your local network.

Key Features

• Bluetooth Controller: View / Connect / Disconnect Bluetooth devices directly from desktop. Helps in switching your connected EarBuds from Phone to Desktop and vice versa.
• Link Handoff: Open links and Trigger apps on Android device by just copying the links from the desktop. For-example, If you copy a YouTube link on desktop it will trigger the same copied video on YouTube on android.
• Android Music: Play device music list on desktop.

• PDF Scanner : Trigger Scanner from desktop, Scan the document using camera, saving the pdf immediately opens PDF on Desktop. (1 Scan less than 6 seconds)
