Running an anti-detect browser (Chromium core) on macOS with a static ISP SOCKS5 proxy. Browserleaks DNS test shows the proxy IP in the correct country, but the DNS list shows Google servers in other countries. Switch the same profile to HTTPS proxy and the leak disappears. Provider confirmed they support remote DNS (socks5h).
The browser does not accept socks5h in the proxy field and there is no launch args field for Chromium flags. Already disabled browser Secure DNS, disabled IPv6 on macOS, and set system DNS to the router only. Nothing changed.
