I’ve built so many things with claude and I’m running out of ideas.

I have really enjoyed using claude code for past few months. I’ve built and purged hundreds of apps/tools/games. Here’s some of my favorites selfhosted apps –

Finances-

Firefly III with its db, a mail-sync service. It reads upi, banking and card emails and statement pdfs from a dedicated mailbox. It logs every transaction, auto-categorises it, and shows balances, loans and spending patterns. You can also ask it questions (AI ready with sonnet/haiku)

IPO Desk

An AI paper-trading desk with fake money. Claude makes the buy and sell calls and writes post-mortems. This is running for a week and so far nothing successful. Work in progress

Family Health

Upload the family’s lab reports and it extracts the values and checks them. It then shows trends over time, writes an AI summary and lets you chat with it like a doctor Q&A

Gym

One of my favourites. My huawei watch sync all data to my server via cloudflare (via HC webhook), far superior to huawei health app. It also tracks my workout progress, suggests muscle group, lot other patterns. Is also AI ready. It identifies and tells me if doing legs workout made my HR higher or if shoulder workout made me sleep better. I mostly use it for excercise guides. It has all guides for every muscle group.

Plants

Tracks 20 plants. Watering is driven by the weather, and each plant has a feeding plan and reminders. Also names all plants, dos and don’ts, fun facts

Resume Studio

Never liked the resume editors online and good ones are paid. I wanted easy way to update resume from any device and a format I like. There’s also a parked Android port, it supports parsing from any type.

AI gateway and core7x

Heart and brain. This is the part that ties it all together. One gateway routes every AI call across my Claude Pro and Google AI Pro plans. It reads live limits, falls back between plans, logs everything and caches repeat jobs. core7x is the phone portal. I run Claude sessions from my phone (that runs on the server from anywhere), with a team of helper models, a memory keeper, weekly self-reviews and ntfy alerts.

There’s a lot more this handles, i’d need a whole post just to list down all that it does.

Lab tooling

Self-built read-only MCP servers for lab status (containers, logs, limits) and for querying every app’s SQLite database. There’s also a login brief, Grafana and VictoriaMetrics dashboards, Pi-hole DNS and a Cloudflare tunnel
