So I just installed ProtonVPN and ProtonMail. After choosing the fastest option in ProtonVPN, I couldn't access any website whatsoever in my Zen-browser (Firefox-based). Also my ProtonMail said there was no connection or "connection timed out".
I did/checked the following things in hope of finding a solution:
- Kill switch was never turned on, so that can't be the problem
- No notifications from Windows Defender
- Changed protocol from smart to Wireguard
- Changed protocol from Wireguard to Proton Wireguard
- Changed protocol from Proton Wireguard to OpenVPN
- Changed protocol form OpenVPN to Stealth
- Flushed my DNS (windows command prompt)
- When I turn off my ProtonVPN, everything works just fine
Nothing worked. I'm connected to internet trough Ethernet and I'm working on Windows 11.
Does anyone have a possible solution?
