anyone else finding fortnite basically unplayable in australian servers ever since the subregion update?

had made this post about my unstable ping on another fn sub last month and the issue still seems to be ongoing, even today. and it only seems to happen within fortnite. my only other example being roblox, which the ping is fine in expect when it sends me into singaporean/asian servers as roblox too also has minimal australian servers. which leads me into thinking if my isp is routing me into american servers secretly as there isn't enough players to matchmake me with in oceania?

my settings page used to say that oceania was around 40ms now it says 350ms both on oceania and it's subregion sydney. this is a visual glitch too, because this has been fluctuating everytime i open the game, never used to.

in game is another story, just today i was at 1,100 ping. with red x but with 0% packet loss (usually the wifi icon is normal, just high ping) and my game was working normally no freezing in the one game i had played, just laggy.

i did make some changes by splitting my wifi-bands hoping this would help and just sticking to 5ghz, but no differences were made in regards to the fortnite issues. (for reference i use starlink, it's the only wifi that works in the area i've live in. my wifi used to be so bad you couldn't even search the word dog, which is why we switched to it. ethernet is not an option for me.)

i really am at a point where i am almost going to give up with trying to fix it. because everything i've done does not improve my situation at all and the updates are only making it worse, not better. sad really as i do love this game.

specs for reference:

processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor (3.70 GHz)

ram: 16.0 GB

hard drive: ADATA LEGEND 800

graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
