Gamroul Blellet: The Living Roulette – The Great Summoner

Note this was a Deltarune OC that I've kinda splintered off into it's own thing, but that's where their roots are from.

Short info

Name: Gamroul Blellet

Species: Magical Sentient Roulette; Avatars take on a human-esque appearance

Origins: Is the Gacha game mechanism given life within their setting. Originally, their world within the vast multiverse was simply the development of an anime Gacha game called ”Emperor’s Light: Star Slash.” However, like most things, the creation that went into it- the imagination, the passion turned it into a genuine universe within the multiversal cosmos. And thus Gamroul was born, created to be the embodiment of the Gambling aspect of the system; they took it to new heights as they used their abilities to explore their new home, their new life, their new people. (Note: this is his knowledge; some of the Bio later is from the perspectives of others and so his origins are unknown to them.)

True Body: A living, mechanical-magical roulette wheel.

Gender: Variable. Possesses masculine and feminine avatars determined by the roulette's results.

Height: 6'0" (in both forms)

Age: Unknown (Obstensively, in the setting, they’re ageless, though they appear in their early 20s; the game they are from is ultimately 20 years old)

Origin: The Grand Roulette, an extraordinary summoning system capable of drawing upon the heroes, equipment, powers, and military forces of countless civilizations.

Occupation: Guardian of the Grand Roulette, Gambling Host

Affiliation: The Grand Roulette, commonly referred to as the House.

Primary Power: Gacha Roulette – The ability to obtain and manifest randomized summons, supernatural abilities, traps, and equipment from an immense collection of rewards originating across numerous civilizations and universes.

Rarity Scaling

Gamroul's Powers and Equipment follow a progressively increasing multiplicative scaling system, with each successive rarity receiving a greater multiplier than the previous one. This allows higher-rarity rewards to become exponentially more powerful, with Mythic rewards representing an enormous increase over their Common counterparts.

Common (Gray): 1x – Base power.

Rare (Blue): 10x – Ten times the power of Common.

Epic (Purple): 200x – Twenty times the power of Rare.

Legendary (Yellow): 8,000x – Forty times the power of Epic.

Mythic (Red): 640,000x – Eighty times the power of Legendary.

These multipliers apply to the relevant capabilities of the Power or Equipment obtained.

For Powers, the scaling can increase properties such as damage output, strength, range, effectiveness, or other applicable characteristics. For example, a Common fire-manipulation ability might produce flames comparable to those of a campfire, while its higher-rarity counterparts become progressively more destructive.

For Equipment, the multiplier increases the statistics enhanced by that particular item, such as physical strength, speed, durability, or other applicable attributes.

The multipliers do not automatically grant unrelated abilities. Instead, they amplify the characteristics of the reward obtained.

Summons operate differently, retaining the abilities, statistics, and power levels of the characters or units summoned from the Grand Roulette's collection. Their rarity reflects the quality and power of the available summon rather than applying an additional multiplier to their established abilities.

Traps similarly operate according to their individual effects and activation conditions, with higher rarities allowing for increasingly powerful and dangerous results.

Signature Ability: House Always Wins – Allows Gamroul to guarantee a reward's rarity and category or his physical form, but never both simultaneously.

Personality: An extremely enthusiastic and sociable individual who genuinely loves gambling, not merely for the possibility of winning but for the skill, probability, risk, and judgment involved. Gamroul is theatrical, charismatic, competitive, and fond of complimenting others on their gambling abilities. He is equally comfortable winning or losing individual wagers, preferring to work with whatever result he's been dealt rather than constantly pursuing the strongest possible outcome.

Although generally friendly and more interested in a good wager than a serious fight, Gamroul takes his responsibilities as the guardian of the Grand Roulette seriously. When something truly important is threatened, he is entirely willing to abandon his usual reluctance toward manipulating the odds.

Appearance

Gamroul's actual body is a gigantic roulette wheel composed of an intricate combination of mechanical and magical components. The wheel itself is sentient and serves as the center of Gamroul's consciousness, with his humanoid form being little more than an avatar through which the roulette interacts with the world.

The wheel itself possesses a series of independently operating mechanical rings and magical mechanisms, each responsible for determining different aspects of the results generated by the Grand Roulette.

Its enormous size and intricate construction make it an impressive sight, particularly when its various rings begin rotating at different speeds during a summoning.

In his humanoid appearance, Gamroul stands approximately six feet tall, possessing naturally gray skin, yellow hair, and red eyes.

The eyes are particularly notable, as their natural red coloration is accompanied by a glow that changes according to the rarity of the most recently obtained roulette reward.

His skin is similarly unusual, changing between different shades of gray in response to his emotional state. When happy or excited, his skin becomes lighter, whereas sadness, irritation, or anger cause it to progressively darken.

Gamroul typically wears a formal outfit consisting of purple inner clothing covered by a long blue trench coat. His attire resembles a cross between a fashionable suit and the clothing of an extravagant casino host, maintaining an elegant appearance while allowing freedom of movement during combat.

His clothing remains mostly unchanged between his two humanoid configurations, merely adjusting to accommodate the differences in his physical proportions.

Masculine Form

The masculine avatar possesses short, stylish yellow hair and a physique comparable to that of a conventional male protagonist from an anime-styled fantasy adventure.

While not necessarily excessively muscular, this form possesses a sturdier build that emphasizes physical strength and durability.

The masculine form is primarily designed for direct combat, possessing superior physical power and defensive capabilities compared to its feminine counterpart.

It is consequently better suited to withstanding powerful attacks, engaging opponents directly, and physically defending Gamroul's true roulette body.

Feminine Form

The feminine avatar possesses long, flowing yellow hair and a physique comparable to that of a conventional female protagonist from the same style of fantasy adventure.

While maintaining the same overall height and recognizable appearance, this form possesses a more agile build, emphasizing rapid movement, flexibility, and evasive maneuvering.

The feminine form specializes in speed and agility, allowing Gamroul to reposition rapidly, evade attacks, and exploit openings in an opponent's defenses.

Despite the differences in their physical capabilities, both forms share the same personality, consciousness, memories, and preferences.

Gamroul enjoys both forms equally and does not consider either to be more representative of his true identity.

After all, neither humanoid form is his actual body.

The roulette is.

BIO

The Dying Empire

According to the most widely accepted historical accounts, much of the known universe once existed beneath the authority of a vast interstellar empire whose influence extended across countless planets, star systems, and galaxies.

How much of the universe the empire actually controlled remains a matter of some debate. Imperial records naturally claim that its authority was practically universal, while surviving records from independent civilizations suggest that its actual control may have been considerably less absolute than its rulers would have preferred others to believe.

Nevertheless, even the empire's greatest detractors generally acknowledge that it was among the largest and most powerful civilizations known to have existed.

The empire itself was an extraordinary civilization, combining advanced sciences and technologies with magical disciplines, supernatural phenomena, and individuals possessing powers capable of threatening stars or even entire solar systems.

For generations, the empire had supposedly remained united through the authority of its Emperor, whose continued reign maintained a fragile balance between the countless civilizations, political organizations, military institutions, and economic powers operating within imperial territory.

At least, that is how imperial historians preferred to remember it.

Accounts from the empire's final years paint a considerably less flattering picture.

Beneath the apparent stability of the Emperor's reign, the empire had long been approaching a breaking point.

Powerful political figures had begun maneuvering to seize control of imperial institutions, though the identities and intentions of those involved were frequently concealed behind layers of political intrigue.

Revolutionary movements quietly gathered supporters and resources, waiting for an opportunity to rise against the existing order.

Megacorporations prepared their own plans to seize control of entire sectors, intending to transform territories previously governed by the empire into privately controlled holdings.

Military commanders, regional governors, and established aristocratic houses similarly prepared for the possibility of imperial authority collapsing.

The extent of these conspiracies remains difficult to establish. Much of the surviving evidence originates from political accusations made during the subsequent civil wars, and more than a few supposed conspirators were conveniently accused by those who stood to benefit from their removal.

Nevertheless, it is generally accepted that the Emperor's continued existence had prevented many of these competing interests from openly challenging the established order.

That changed when the Emperor died without a publicly recognized heir.

The circumstances of his death are themselves the subject of considerable speculation.

Some accounts describe an otherwise unremarkable death, while others allege assassination, supernatural intervention, or conspiracies originating from within the highest levels of the imperial government.

Evidence supporting many of these theories is questionable at best, particularly considering how many of the factions that emerged afterward had an interest in presenting themselves as either the Emperor's rightful successors or the innocent victims of his supposed enemies.

Regardless of the circumstances, the Emperor was dead.

And with him went the last recognized authority capable of holding the empire together.

The empire rapidly fractured as its various political, military, and economic powers began competing for control.

What followed was a catastrophic succession crisis, with wars spreading across numerous galaxies as countless civilizations attempted to secure their futures.

The resulting conflict is generally understood to involve at least 100 significant factions, of which 25 are commonly classified as major powers.

These include imperial successor states, monarchies, democracies, communist governments, oligarchies, plutocracies, and numerous other political systems.

However, attempts to establish a universally accepted count have proven difficult.

Some historical records classify separatist movements as independent factions, while others continue to regard them as rebellious provinces of their former governments.

Several major powers have similarly refused to recognize the legitimacy of rival states, while independent civilizations have occasionally been classified as minor factions despite exercising considerable influence within their respective regions.

Further complicating matters are reports of civilizations originating beyond the known universe, some allegedly arriving from entirely different dimensions or realities.

Such claims remain particularly controversial, although the existence of extraordinary magical and technological phenomena makes dismissing them outright rather difficult.

Whatever the precise number of factions involved, the scale of the resulting conflict was immense.

Entire planetary systems became battlefields, while enormous interstellar fleets exchanged fire across distances that would have seemed incomprehensible to lesser civilizations.

Powerful individuals capable of operating at stellar to solar-system levels frequently took to these battlefields, serving as champions, generals, commanders, and extraordinary weapons of war.

However, conventional militaries remained relevant.

Sufficiently large armies and interstellar fleets could overwhelm even these immensely powerful individuals through numerical superiority, greater range, coordinated operations, and concentrated firepower.

The resulting conflict was one in which individual champions could change the course of an entire campaign, yet no single warrior could necessarily guarantee the ultimate outcome of the war.

Among the more unusual rumors to emerge from the conflict is the possibility that the deceased Emperor had secretly left behind a surviving heir.

The credibility of these claims varies enormously depending upon the source.

Certain imperial genealogical records allude to an individual whose existence was allegedly concealed from the public, while other accounts insist that such documents were fabricated by factions seeking a legitimate claimant through whom they might restore imperial authority.

Particularly strange versions of the story describe an amnesiac wanderer who possesses no knowledge of their ancestry, but whose recovered memories could eventually reveal a claim to the imperial throne.

Whether these stories refer to an actual individual, a deliberate political deception, or an elaborate legend constructed around the empire's collapse remains unknown to most of those who have investigated them.

Nevertheless, the possibility of a surviving heir continues to attract considerable attention.

After all, in a universe where entire civilizations have gone to war over the right to inherit an empire, even the suggestion of a legitimate successor could prove extraordinarily dangerous.

The Grand Roulette

Amid the countless civilizations and extraordinary phenomena of this universe exists a mysterious system commonly referred to as the Grand Roulette.

Its origins are considerably more obscure than those of the empire itself.

Indeed, the surviving accounts concerning its existence are so inconsistent that some historians have questioned whether they are describing the same phenomenon at all.

Certain traditions claim the Grand Roulette existed long before the empire's rise, having been discovered by ancient civilizations whose names have since disappeared from recorded history.

Others maintain that it was created through an extraordinary union of magical and technological disciplines, possibly as part of some forgotten experiment involving probability and the manipulation of reality.

A few particularly unconventional accounts suggest that the Grand Roulette did not originate from any civilization within the known universe, but instead emerged from somewhere beyond it.

None of these explanations has been conclusively demonstrated.

What is considerably better documented is the system's extraordinary ability to produce results from an immense collection of beings, objects, and supernatural powers.

The Grand Roulette appears capable of drawing upon heroes, military formations, supernatural abilities, technological equipment, artifacts, and battlefield hazards originating from numerous civilizations.

There are also persistent reports of rewards associated with entities and technologies that seemingly possess no counterpart within the known universe.

Whether these originate from undiscovered civilizations, alternate realities, or some other phenomenon remains a matter of speculation.

Regardless of their origins, the results produced by the system are undeniably real.

Those who have witnessed the Grand Roulette in operation describe a gigantic mechanical-magical mechanism containing numerous independently operating components.

These mechanisms appear responsible for determining different aspects of the results it produces, including their category, rarity, and specific characteristics.

Rather than granting unrestricted access to its extraordinary collection, the system operates through probability.

Every activation represents a gamble.

Some results may produce comparatively ordinary equipment or small groups of soldiers.

Others may produce legendary heroes, extraordinary magical abilities, or artifacts whose capabilities could threaten entire civilizations.

The Grand Roulette does not appear to consistently favor the strongest possible result, regardless of the circumstances surrounding its activation.

Instead, the outcome is determined by the mechanisms of the roulette itself.

Attempts to fully explain these mechanisms have produced numerous competing theories.

Some researchers insist that the roulette operates according to mathematical principles that have simply not yet been completely understood.

Others believe its mechanisms possess the ability to manipulate probability directly, transforming otherwise impossible outcomes into reality.

Still others regard the system as an elaborate expression of fate, suggesting that its apparently random results are merely manifestations of a predetermined cosmic order.

Whatever the truth, the Grand Roulette's continued existence has attracted the interest of individuals and organizations from across numerous civilizations.

Over time, the system became closely associated with an establishment or domain commonly referred to as the House.

The precise nature of the House is itself somewhat difficult to define.

Some accounts describe a physical establishment in which individuals may participate in extraordinary wagers, while others portray it as something closer to an institution whose influence extends far beyond any single location.

There are even descriptions suggesting that the House possesses properties not entirely consistent with conventional space, though the reliability of these claims is questionable.

Despite these disagreements, visitors generally describe the House as a place where gambling is treated as considerably more than a simple form of entertainment.

Mathematics, probability, skill, judgment, and the willingness to accept risk are regarded as essential qualities of a successful participant.

The House is also closely associated with an extraordinary individual whose existence has inspired almost as much speculation as the Grand Roulette itself.

Its guardian.

The Great Summoner.

Gamroul Blellet.

The Birth of the Great Summoner

The origins of Gamroul Blellet are, according to most surviving accounts, something of a mystery.

Indeed, even those who have personally encountered the Great Summoner frequently disagree on precisely what manner of being he is.

Some describe him as an extraordinarily sophisticated magical construct whose consciousness emerged from the Grand Roulette's complex mechanisms.

Others insist that he is a powerful spirit or supernatural entity who merely inhabits the roulette, using it as a physical vessel through which to interact with the world.

Certain religious interpretations have gone considerably further, suggesting that Gamroul represents a divine manifestation of chance, fortune, or fate.

Others have proposed that he is an artificial intelligence of incomprehensible sophistication, created by a civilization whose technological achievements have long since been forgotten.

A particularly unusual collection of theories concerns the possibility that Gamroul, the Grand Roulette, and perhaps even the universe itself possess origins that cannot be explained through conventional history.

Such ideas are generally dismissed as philosophical speculation, although their proponents occasionally point toward the extraordinary inconsistencies found within surviving accounts of the Grand Roulette's existence.

Whether any of these explanations possess merit remains uncertain to those attempting to document his history.

What is known is that Gamroul is capable of manifesting a gigantic mechanical-magical roulette wheel, which appears to serve as the foundation of his consciousness and supernatural abilities.

Although he most frequently interacts with others through a humanoid appearance, these manifestations are not considered his original body.

Indeed, individuals who have witnessed the destruction of one of his humanoid forms report that the roulette itself can survive the event and subsequently produce another avatar.

Such accounts have led most observers to conclude that the wheel is not merely an object Gamroul controls, but is in some manner inseparable from his actual existence.

The exact relationship between the two remains difficult for outsiders to establish, although Gamroul himself appears to regard the distinction as considerably less complicated than those studying him.

As the guardian of the Grand Roulette, Gamroul possesses extraordinary authority over its mechanisms.

He can obtain and manifest an enormous variety of rewards, including military units, powerful individuals, supernatural abilities, advanced equipment, and dangerous battlefield hazards.

Interestingly, many of the beings summoned through the system appear to recognize him immediately.

Numerous accounts describe summoned individuals addressing Gamroul as the Great Summoner or acknowledging his position as the system's guardian.

Why this recognition exists is another matter of debate.

Some suggest that Gamroul possesses an intrinsic supernatural authority over those called through the roulette.

Others believe that the beings associated with its collection possess some form of prior knowledge concerning the system and its guardian.

A third interpretation proposes that this recognition is simply part of the summoning process itself.

Whatever the explanation, the cooperation of these summoned beings has been consistently observed.

Despite this extraordinary authority, Gamroul does not appear particularly interested in governing the countless civilizations whose representatives may be found within the Grand Roulette's collection.

Their rulers, armies, and populations continue pursuing their own interests, often competing or fighting against one another.

Gamroul's responsibilities instead appear to concern the Grand Roulette itself, the continued operation of the House, and the protection of those placed under his care.

Although the precise circumstances surrounding his appointment or emergence remain unknown to most observers, there is little question that Gamroul regards these responsibilities seriously.

Yet those who have met him often remark upon something rather unexpected.

For a being possessing access to such extraordinary power, Gamroul displays remarkably little interest in exploiting it for personal conquest.

He does not appear particularly interested in establishing an empire, seizing control of civilizations, or accumulating the largest possible collection of powerful servants.

Instead, he seems almost entirely fascinated by gambling.

Every spin, every unexpected result, every victory achieved despite unfavorable odds appears to bring him genuine enjoyment.

And while many have attempted to interpret this behavior as evidence of some hidden purpose, those who have spent considerable time in his company frequently arrive at a considerably simpler explanation.

Gamroul simply loves gambling.

To him, the Grand Roulette is not merely a collection of powerful weapons, supernatural abilities, or extraordinary beings.

It represents the opportunity to experience an endless succession of meaningful wagers.

To test his judgment against chance.

To discover whether skill and ingenuity can transform even the most unfavorable result into a winning hand.

And, perhaps most importantly, to meet others who appreciate the art of gambling as much as he does.

Whether the Great Summoner is an ancient construct, a supernatural spirit, an artificial intelligence, or something altogether stranger remains an unanswered question for those attempting to reconstruct his history.

But whatever the truth of his origins, one thing appears remarkably consistent across the countless stories told about him.

Gamroul Blellet has never been particularly interested in convincing everyone that his understanding of the universe is the correct one.

He would much rather invite them to the table.

And see what the next spin brings.

Personality

Gamroul is an extremely enthusiastic individual whose greatest passion is gambling.

He possesses a theatrical manner of speaking, frequently referring to others as friends, darlings, or prospective gamblers while offering compliments, encouragement, and the occasional playful remark.

Gamroul genuinely enjoys meeting individuals willing to test their skills against the roulette, particularly those capable of understanding the difference between taking calculated risks and simply hoping for good fortune.

He firmly believes that gambling involves far more than random chance.

Probability, mathematical judgment, strategy, adaptability, and the ability to recognize when a wager is worth taking are all essential parts of the experience.

Consequently, Gamroul is just as capable of appreciating a clever victory achieved with a Common reward as an overwhelming triumph achieved through an exceptionally rare one.

While a Mythic pull may produce considerable excitement, Gamroul doesn't automatically consider an unfavorable result worthless.

Instead, he enjoys attempting to use whatever he's obtained to the greatest possible effect.

This attitude also extends to his opponents.

An individual capable of manipulating the wheel through careful timing or using an unfavorable situation to secure victory is likely to earn Gamroul's admiration.

He will frequently compliment such individuals, sometimes becoming more interested in his opponents as those individuals demonstrate increasingly sophisticated gambling techniques.

Gamroul also values the rules of an agreed wager.

To him, gambling is most enjoyable when everyone understands what is being risked, what may be won, and how the results will be determined.

This does not necessarily mean every participant must possess equal capabilities, but the terms and stakes should be understood by those involved.

Although Gamroul possesses an ability capable of guaranteeing favorable outcomes, he ordinarily refuses to use it.

Not because he lacks the ability.

But because removing uncertainty would diminish one of the very things he loves most.

There are, however, circumstances where this philosophy gives way to his responsibilities.

When the House is threatened, when those under his protection are endangered, or when an exceptionally important confrontation arrives, Gamroul is entirely willing to manipulate the odds to improve his chances of victory.

Even then, the exact rewards obtained remain uncertain.

Gamroul is therefore just as much a skilled strategist as he is a gambler, possessing the ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and incorporate an enormous variety of powers into combat.

He is also remarkably comfortable with personal danger.

When opponents begin threatening his true roulette body, Gamroul is more likely to become excited by the increased stakes than immediately frightened.

However, he understands the value of protecting his own life and will actively defend the roulette rather than recklessly allowing it to be destroyed.

Nor is Gamroul particularly interested in killing his opponents.

He would generally prefer to defeat someone through an agreed wager, gaining the satisfaction of proving himself the superior gambler rather than simply overpowering them through violence.

This does not make him incapable of lethal combat.

Should an opponent threaten his existence, his home, or those he has sworn to protect, Gamroul can respond with the full extent of his extraordinary abilities.

Ultimately, Gamroul is someone who loves the game regardless of whether he wins or loses.

And should the wager truly be worth it, he is prepared to risk everything.

Powers and Abilities

The Living Roulette

Gamroul's primary ability originates from his true body, a gigantic mechanical-magical roulette wheel that serves as his consciousness, physical foundation, and source of supernatural power.

The wheel is capable of producing randomized results from the Grand Roulette's extraordinary collection of heroes, supernatural abilities, equipment, and other rewards.

These results are divided into four major categories:

Summon, Power, Trap, and Equipment.

Each category can have one active result at a time, allowing Gamroul to maintain four different rewards simultaneously.

The exact properties of any individual reward depend upon the character, ability, item, or hazard obtained.

Rewards normally remain active until replaced, destroyed, or consumed.

The wheel is not merely a magical construct controlled by Gamroul.

It is Gamroul himself.

Roulette Concealment

Gamroul can conceal the wheel within his humanoid avatar, preventing it from remaining exposed as an independent target.

However, the roulette must manifest whenever Gamroul activates his summoning and reward-related abilities.

This presents a tactical vulnerability, as sufficiently capable opponents can attack the true wheel directly while it is exposed.

The roulette can subsequently be concealed once its abilities are no longer being actively used.

Roulette Durability

Gamroul's true body possesses substantially greater durability than either of his humanoid avatars.

It can endure attacks that would otherwise destroy his manifested bodies.

Nevertheless, the roulette remains destructible.

Should the actual wheel be destroyed, Gamroul dies.

Avatar Manifestation

Gamroul can create a humanoid avatar through which he physically interacts with the world.

This avatar possesses his consciousness, memories, personality, and natural combat abilities.

The roulette determines whether the avatar manifests in a masculine or feminine configuration.

Unlike the true body, these manifestations are replaceable.

If the avatar is destroyed, the roulette can simply create another.

Should the roulette be concealed within the avatar at the time, it emerges from the destroyed body before generating a replacement.

However, this regeneration possesses a notable consequence.

All rewards actively tied to Gamroul dissipate when his avatar is destroyed.

Gamroul must subsequently obtain new rewards to rebuild his arsenal.

Masculine Avatar

The masculine form emphasizes superior strength and durability.

It is more effective in direct physical engagements, resisting powerful attacks, and protecting the exposed roulette through defensive combat.

Feminine Avatar

The feminine form emphasizes superior speed and agility.

It is more effective in rapid movement, maneuverability, evasion, and positioning.

Both configurations possess the same intelligence, personality, memories, and underlying roulette abilities.

Randomized Transformation

Every ordinary roulette spin independently determines the avatar's physical configuration through an equal 50/50 chance.

Because the result is independent of the obtained reward, Gamroul may receive equipment or a summon completely unrelated to his current or resulting form.

He may also roll the same physical configuration repeatedly.

Gamroul does not have an intrinsic preference for either manifestation and enjoys both equally.

Summoning

Gamroul can manifest characters and military units from the Grand Roulette's enormous collection.

These beings originate from actual individuals and military forces belonging to the countless civilizations represented within the system.

Their manifested capabilities accurately reflect the powers, characteristics, and equipment associated with their originals.

This grants Gamroul potential access to exceptionally powerful combatants, including individuals capable of operating at stellar to solar-system levels.

Summoned characters generally recognize Gamroul as the Great Summoner and cooperate with him.

The nature and strength of a summon are influenced by its rarity.

Common-rarity results can produce small groups of low-tier soldiers or creatures, normally consisting of no more than ten beings.

Higher-rarity results can produce powerful heroes and other extraordinary beings from across the numerous factions and civilizations associated with the Grand Roulette.

Only one Summon-category reward can remain active at a time.

Power Acquisition

Gamroul can obtain a supernatural ability or extraordinary power from the Grand Roulette's collection.

Unlike Summon, the result does not create an independent combatant.

Instead, the power becomes available directly to Gamroul's humanoid avatar.

Depending upon the reward, this can grant abilities associated with various heroes, magical disciplines, technologies, and supernatural systems.

Only one Power-category reward can remain active at a time.

Trap Manifestation

Gamroul can create or acquire traps and battlefield hazards through the roulette.

These may range from relatively simple mechanisms to extraordinarily powerful magical or technological hazards.

Their properties depend upon the result obtained.

Traps remain available until replaced, destroyed, or expended.

Single-use traps are consumed upon activation and must be replaced through another pull.

Only one Trap-category reward can remain active at a time.

Equipment Manifestation

Gamroul can obtain weapons, armor, artifacts, technological devices, and other equipment from the Grand Roulette's collection.

The items possess the properties associated with their origins.

Gamroul may use, dismiss, or leave his equipment in the environment and retrieve it later, provided it has not been replaced or destroyed.

Only one Equipment-category reward can remain active at a time.

Reward Persistence and Ownership

Ordinary roulette rewards are connected to Gamroul's manifested avatar.

Consequently, the destruction of that avatar causes its active rewards to dissipate.

However, Gamroul can also grant rewards to other individuals.

When ownership is transferred, the reward becomes tied to the recipient rather than Gamroul.

Its continued existence is thereafter associated with the recipient's own survival rather than the continued existence of Gamroul's avatar.

This distinction allows Gamroul to provide equipment and other rewards that can survive his own death.

Rarity System

The Grand Roulette employs five rarity classifications, visually represented through the glow of Gamroul's eyes.

Common – Gray

The lowest rarity, generally consisting of comparatively ordinary rewards or low-tier characters.

Rare – Blue

Higher-quality rewards possessing greater potential than typical Common results.

Epic – Purple

Exceptionally valuable rewards, including increasingly powerful equipment, abilities, and characters.

Legendary – Yellow

Extremely valuable rewards associated with some of the more extraordinary capabilities available within the system.

Mythic – Red

The highest established rarity, representing the most prestigious rewards available through the Grand Roulette.

Although higher rarity generally corresponds to greater value or power, the effectiveness of a reward depends upon its abilities and the circumstances in which it is used.

Gamroul's eyes display the rarity of the result obtained, allowing knowledgeable opponents to recognize how valuable a particular pull may be.

The exact percentage chances for each rarity have not been finalized.

Roulette Overclocking

Under ordinary circumstances, Gamroul's roulette requires approximately the same amount of time as a normal roulette wheel to complete its spin.

However, Gamroul possesses the ability to overclock the mechanism.

This causes the wheel to rotate more rapidly and complete its cycle sooner, allowing rewards to be acquired more quickly.

The disadvantage is a deterioration in the probability distribution.

Overclocking increases the likelihood of receiving Common rewards.

Gamroul must therefore decide whether obtaining a result immediately is worth accepting less favorable odds.

This becomes particularly important when facing opponents capable of threatening the roulette during its exposed state.

House Always Wins

Gamroul's signature technique is an exceptionally powerful form of probability manipulation that allows him to guarantee particular components of a roulette result.

There are two primary applications.

Guaranteed Reward

Gamroul can guarantee the rarity and category of a reward.

For example, he can force the wheel to produce a Mythic Summon or Legendary Equipment result.

However, he cannot select the exact character, ability, trap, or equipment obtained.

The precise reward remains random.

Additionally, the avatar's physical form continues to be independently determined through the normal 50/50 transformation track.

Guaranteed Transformation

Alternatively, Gamroul can guarantee the masculine or feminine form.

In exchange, the reward's category, rarity, and identity remain random.

Exclusivity

House Always Wins cannot guarantee both the reward and the physical form on the same spin.

Gamroul must decide which aspect of the outcome is most important at that moment.

Previously obtained rewards remain active when the technique changes focus, provided they have not otherwise been replaced or destroyed.

Absolute Priority

The technique cannot be overridden through physical manipulation of the roulette.

If someone attempts to move the dial toward another outcome while House Always Wins is controlling the relevant result, the mechanism corrects itself to ensure the guaranteed choice.

This priority applies to whichever component Gamroul has chosen to guarantee.

Voluntary Restraint

Gamroul normally avoids using House Always Wins.

He prefers the excitement of genuine uncertainty, believing that consistently guaranteeing favorable outcomes defeats much of the purpose of gambling.

However, he will use it when sufficiently important stakes justify doing so.

Roulette Manipulation and Interference

Although Gamroul possesses considerable authority over the roulette's operations, other individuals can physically interfere with its mechanisms.

An opponent may attempt to strike the wheel while it is spinning, disrupting the current cycle.

They may also grab or move its dial before the result is finalized, potentially altering the outcome.

Alternatively, an opponent may manipulate the wheel's rotation in a manner that causes the current spin to continue longer.

These methods require interacting directly with the roulette, exposing the opponent to the risks associated with approaching Gamroul's true body.

Furthermore, none of these methods can override the component of a result protected by House Always Wins.
