Trying to connect a custom to email for a tiny business, what am I missing?

I’m setting up email for a two person design business and this should have been a ten minute job. It has not been a ten minute job lol.

The domain is registered through Wix and the mail provider gave me a verification record plus MX records. I added the verification record, but Gmail still says the domain isn’t ready. I waited overnight and checked the spelling twice, so now I’m wondering if I put the host field in wrong.

There are options for name, value, and TTL in the DNS page, which is where my confidence ended. Sorry if this is basic, but what does a normal setup look like? Thanks in advance
