[Task Share] Live Internet Traffic Monitor – inbound and outbound IP addresses (plus more)

I've added a few finishing touches to a project I have been using for a while, so thought I would share it.

Internet traffic analyser with inbound and outbound IP addresses, DNS lookup, TCP or UDP and per app analysis.

Features:

– Bandwidth speed.

– Resizable, draggable and bubble mode.

– Pause and resume traffic report.

– Monitor all traffic or switch to single app mode and view only the data associated with the app currently on screen.

– Filters by TCP, UDP, In or Out.

– Live Mode and Log Mode:

Switch Between Live & History (📡 LIVE / 📜 LOG):

​Tap 📡 LIVE to switch to 📜 LOG. In Log mode, every new connection is stamped with the exact time (HH:mm:ss) and kept on screen even after the connection closes.

– DNS Lookup:

Automatic Resolution (🌐 DNS button): By default, the 🌐 DNS button is highlighted in the filter bar.

There is a background DNS resolver thread. Because looking up domain names takes 50–200ms per IP, doing it on the main loop would freeze the HUD. Instead, the script queues any new IP address into a background worker that resolves the domain name via InetAddress.getByName(ip).getCanonicalHostName(), caches it, and updates the display on the next tick. You can toggle between raw IP addresses and resolved domain names anytime using the 🌐 DNS / 🔢 IP button in the filter bar.

– You can use the search bar to search by IP address or domain name etc.
