TLDR: error 7131 got resolved, though I do not know the cause and nothing I did affected it, as far as I'm aware
Recently, I started receiving error 7131 whenever I tried accessing Prime video on any of my devices.
I reported it to customer service, went through their troubleshooting checklist. Wasn't using a VPN or anything like that…
Cleared caches, reinstalled, reset router, changed networks, changed DNS, etcetera…
Nothing. They said they would get back to me
The next day, my account was suspended.
I called again, turns out, I had recently gotten a new debit card, but made purchases with the old info, because the old info was not expired and the purchases worked…
So, after much consternation, I got my account back and then updated my payment info to the new card information and I make a purchase I was planning anyway
But, still no Prime Video…
So I call again, it's been four days…
Only now I'm getting new error messages, 1055, 1004-LD…
And again, nothing works and they say they'll get back to me…
Four days later, it works again, no message from customer service, so I call to let them know… It took little over a week, but things did get back to working
I suspect making a purchase using valid but outdated payment info has something to do with it, but I don't know for certain
Just posting this because I saw other people who received error 7131 and were never able to get things working again and I thought this might provide some things to check it anyone else has it happen
