Unknown “Managed Device” in iPhone Location Services, but no MDM profile or app installed?

I’ve recently noticed something called **“Managed Device”** listed under Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services on my iPhone 17, and I have absolutely no idea what it is!

It has a generic placeholder app icon, and its location permission is currently set to “Never”, although “Always” is available as an option.

A bit of background:
My iPhone 17 was bought brand new in November.
I’m running iOS 26.6.1.
I completely factory-reset my phone a couple of weeks ago and restored it from an iCloud backup.
I’ve checked Settings > General > VPN, DNS & Device Management, and there are no management profiles listed.
There’s no indication under Settings > General > About that the phone is supervised or managed.
I’ve searched my App Library and iPhone Storage, but there’s no app called “Managed Device”.
I also checked Microsoft Intune Company Portal, which isn’t installed.

I’m confused about why something called “Managed Device” would appear in my Location Services when I can’t find any corresponding app or management profile.

**Does anyone recognise this entry or know what could cause it to appear?**

Could it be something left over from an iCloud backup, an iOS system component, or something else entirely?

I’m particularly interested in whether there’s a way to identify exactly which app or process is responsible for the entry.

Any advice would be appreciated!
