Where domain hunters compare notes

Yo does anyone actually check if their domain is sending clean before blasting out a bunch of cold emails or am i the only one who never thought about this until it bit me

ok so random thought i keep coming back to. spent so long obsessing over list quality and writing good copy and like never once stopped to think about whether my actual email setup was even working right in the background

found out kinda by accident that this is a whole thing you can check, your spf/dkim stuff, your domain reputation, whether you're basically pre-doomed to land in spam before you even send anything. felt dumb not knowing this tbh

what freaks me out thinking about it now is you just never get told if this is happening to you. no error, no little warning, nothing. you just get silence from everyone and youre sitting there like ok guess my subject lines suck or my targeting is off, meanwhile the actual problem the whole time couldve just been some broken dns record from like 8 months ago that nobody ever fixed

makes me wonder how many posts on here complaining about bad reply rates are actually just… this. like the copy was probably fine the whole time lol

anyway curious if people actually check this stuff before sending or if its one of those things everyone just finds out about the hard way like i did. and if you do check it, is it like a every campaign thing or just a one time setup check kinda deal !
