Greetings all! My name is Bob and I am a long time player and sometimes DM. I have been working on my own rich homebrew world and have been having a blast taking my players through it for the past half a year. We are currently heading to Session 40 with characters currently at level 6. One of my players has to unfortunately leave the game due to the game running too late, so we are looking for a wonderful new player to join the table. The party is currently comprised of:
Rogue, Barbarian, Warlock, Fighter and Wizard. Don't feel pressured into a specific role due to party composition, I just think it's helpful to have at least some idea of what you're walking into.
Since I appreciate people can get lost in the sauce when it comes to a wall of text, let me immediately just list out some info that may or may not be a dealbreaker so you dont read needlessly:
- This campaign will start at 9:30 EST and run 3.5-4 hours most nights with the occaisional longer/shorter session. So far, sessions have run generally around the 4 hour mark. PLEASE only apply if you are able to play the full duration and are able to fully participate until the end of the session.
- Due to the current composition of the players I would ask that all applicants be 27+. I am in my 40's and the average age of our players is in their 30's.
- I believe the game is more fun and interactive when we see each other. As such, to play the game you will need:
- a webcam
- a computer capable of running Foundry VTT & Discord
- A decent headphone/Microphone
- good enough internet to handle the above.
- The game is ongoing and we play most weeks. Typically, if 2 or more can't make it we push.
- Stats are already rolled, but the joining player will have the option to re-roll up to 2 stats, though the stats you replace will be decided by a D6 if you choose to do so.
- The world has High magic – Some technology
- Campaign aims to be 1-20 with some possibility of post cap content.
- Milestone leveling. The party is currently level 6 and leveling speed will taper off as we reach higher levels.
- All official content is allowed as well as some third party
- This is a Roleplay heavy campaign, so there are sessions and often multiple sessions without combat. I'm looking for people who are not only comfortable with that, but those who seek it out and are looking to roleplay with each other as much or more than with the DM.
- Be aware, that if you are chosen, it might be a little while before you can play. I would like to make sure that you are given ample time to create a great backstory for your character so we can properly weave them into the story.
Now on to the description: This campaign is a sandbox campaign that has some greater events happening in the background. There are absolutely no rails and players can choose how and when they engage with the world.
Epiphoria:
The world of Epiphoria is a land steeped in old scars and older stories. Long ago, the God Wars tore kingdoms apart and gave rise to the pantheon that people still honor today. Though centuries have passed, their echoes remain—ruins strangled by jungle, deserts pitted with ancient wounds, and proud cities rebuilt from ash and memory. It is a place of wonder and danger in equal measure, where oceans tie distant cultures together and the push of ambition, trade, and faith keeps the world forever on the edge of change.
Life here is shaped as much by the gods as by mortals. Temples or shrines rise in every city, each devoted to powers whose domains stretch from discovery and beauty to war, death, and even nothingness itself. The gods may not speak as loudly as they once did, but their presence is still felt—in sudden blessings, cruel curses, and the quiet sense that unseen eyes are always watching. Epiphoria is a world both thriving and fragile, where peace never lasts forever, and the actions of a few can tilt the fate of many.

Do not be discouraged if you don't hear from me right away. Also, if you are someone that has previously applied, I encourage you to apply again! I am looking to get a good pool of applicants before making any decisions. If I feel you may be a good fit, I'll contact you and try to schedule a video meeting in Discord so we can each get a feel for each other.
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to playing with you!
