2 years of applying for entry-level IT jobs and barely getting interviews

I honestly don’t know what else I’m supposed to do at this point.

I’ve been trying to get my first IT job for around 2 years now. I have my CompTIA A+ and Network+, and I’ve also built a home lab where I practice Active Directory, Windows troubleshooting, DNS/DHCP, password resets, user management, and basic networking.

I’ve applied for a ton of Help Desk, Service Desk, IT Support, and IT Technician roles, but I barely even get interviews.

The most frustrating part is seeing “entry-level” jobs asking for 1–3 years of experience.

I’m not expecting some amazing job. I just want one company to give me a chance so I can actually start getting experience.

Has anyone else dealt with this trying to break into IT? What finally worked for you?
