so i like many aussies have been plagued with extremely high ping to singapore servers (380-500ms) because of the cable issues. i spent so much time trying to play with my router settings and using services like exitlag and gearup which dont last long with their free trials, i found out using cloudware WARP fixes it for free
Turning on the app (the free 1.1.1.1 download) completely skips the broken cable route. My ping instantly dropped to around 160-180ms with barely any packet loss.
just pick the private browsing option, the one on the left that says agree to terms and service blah blah, leave it on traffic and DNS UDP, and hit connect BEFORE you open your game. It skips the hardware-locked free trials of things like ExitLag. Hopefully this saves you guys some cash until the cables get fixed.
