Hi guys,
I am on Framer Pro, I needed to block a certain country from visiting my website recently and I used Cloudflare IP block and country block ..
My site is hosted on Framer so this triggered Framer to not detect my site as hosted on Framer and it says now DNS records and domain pending ..
However, my site is working fine.
I did contact support and obviously they asked me to switch to Reverse Proxy as the only native solution to avoid SSL certificate renewal issues …
However for my use case blocking this country is not really worth $200 a month add on.
My question is : did anyone deal with a similar setup for long term without issues ?
Should I really stop the block and return back to Framer DNS records directly or is it fine to stay as I am as long as I am making sure the site is not down and SSL is renewed in time ?
