I run a few content sites, and getting backlinks has always been the worst part. You send cold emails to people who never reply, or you get offers to buy links from sites that obviously sell to anyone.
So I built AnyBacklink. It's free, and it matches you with other site owners in your niche so you can agree to a link swap directly with them.
How it works:
- Add your site and pick three keywords that describe it
- Prove you own it (upload a file, add a DNS record, or connect Search Console)
- See verified sites that share your keywords and send a swap offer: the page you'll link from, the type of link, and what you want back
- When each side submits their live page, we check the link is really there before the swap counts
A few things I did on purpose:
- No public directory. Listings are only visible when you're signed in and are blocked from search engines. Kills my SEO potential, however.
- Relevance over metrics. You're matched on shared topics, not Domain Authority.
- No selling or commission. I don't broker links. The two site owners agree on everything between themselves.
Honest feedback is always welcome.
