The entire thing abt working as a contractor is terrible to say the least, normally the companies/vendors in the middle are happily sitting with loads of stash only to give a 3%-4% increase that too after begging for rightfully what is ours. I don't even know how such policies are even tolerated at place by PANW, or has PANW given full authority to them to take decisions even if it hits their reputation ??
Earlier it used to be the case where TAC was outsourced now slowly , PS is being outsourced and customers have no freaking idea that they are paying huge sum of money to PS when they can simply outsource by themselves , doesn't make a difference customers are gonna save huge amount of money.
Customers should pitch in and question the sales if the job is gonna be done by PS or a contractor, not sure why are customers hesitant in raising these kind of questions, u have paid money, security and config are no big joke , ur entire depends on how things are configured, any loopholes in the config is only gonna put ur infra at stake and hit ur reputation.
Now coming back to Indian Vendors , absolute pathetic condition to even work in at the moment , all the vendors must be scrutinized wish I had immense powers to pull up all their idiotic acts they perform in the name of acting as vendors. ITS JUST INDIA which has filthy poor working conditions while European Counterparts and American Counterparts enjoy their work truly and that reflects in their performance.
Not even paid 10% of actual contract as what palo pays to these vendors , what do they do with that money, fill up their pockets along with managers from India who r actually more of MAFIA, rather than actually questioning them.or are mangers from India as well involved heavily in such acts … Favouritism, no value for contractors, paid less , no annual increase , no absolute benefits infact INSURANCE iS ALSO SHIT , wake up everyday just so that u can suck our souls to bottom with no heart left for us who actually genuinely put efforts . We put more effort only for us to be treated like shit by these vendors whose only job is to gamble our actual money. AND ONE RANDOM ASS MANAGER COMES IN WITH HIS BEAUTIFUL ENGLISH WORDS IN INDIA, WITH A HEAVY PAYCHECK TO TELL US WHAT OUR JOBS R, AND KEEP LECTURING US AS HOW TO PERFORM BETTER LMAO. WHEN WE TALK ABT OUR Pay checks , TELLS US NOT MORE THAN 3% CAN BE GIVEN AND THAT NEGLIGIBLE PERCENTAGE COMES AFTER WE BEG 2-4 TIMES, LITERAL MAFIA TECHNIQUES and 21st century slavery.
NO LITERAL BENEFIT WORKING LIKE THIS, INDIAN VENDORS MUST BE UNDER SCRUTINY, CANCEL THEIR STUFF PLEASE AND PALO MUST PULL UP THIER SOCKS AND STOP COVERING UP ACTS . Check the vendors constantly, what they do, bring in a system , process , anything that puts them under surveillance constantly, at the moment they r literal Gangster who THINK THEY CANNOT BE TOUCHED.
We don't demand benefits as that of employees, we r already stripped becoz we work for the vendors but the absolute base is to pay enough, not more not less atleast according to market standards. We do stuffs on par with employees and infact some of us have more knowledge (not boasting) but in the end for what only to end up like a dead soul ??????

This is neither AI SLOP nor a ragebait, please do something now instead of giving. Them freehand, now customers know TAC is trash , soon PS would become trash if things continue like this. Not speaking anything out of frustration but its not my mistake either to be born in this worst era post 2000 where very major step has become a hindrance towards the careers we think we dream of.
My dms are absolutely open incase anyone feel this is not the actual case , someone has to speak , things cannot continue like this. I might leave but for the upcoming folks I wish u do not have to suffer like me .
Anyone thinking if one hold insane crazy skills and has the potential and still work as contractor let me tell you one thing , managers in India have cruel policies of not allowing contractors to be moved directly, they make sure they lobby against us and do everything to make sure we stick to our vendor or else we leave and the ones who work stay know how to suck properly, apologies I am not good at it. i care about my technicals and not here to suck your dick only to get my job done. i won't do that , have my own self respect.
I covered up for one of direct employees who suggested a crap design to the customer not knowing this is buggy , I did the entire thing from scratch whereas he was. Domain consultant only for the sales team to be behind my back to fix things asap before they lose out more deals. How is it my mistake for someone else not doing their job and pushing me, blaming me and trying to wiggle around with additional resources. If something is not working give time to analyze what went wrong , collect logs study it nothing as such a slight delay the sales team want additional resources, the fuck. If a contractor says this is as per expectationas, you don't beleive it but if the same thing omes from an employee you start to believe it . Sometimes even the palo sales team look down upon us , as they don't trust any of the work we do, they want double confirmation from their own teams whom they find comfortable with.This brings shame to myself tbh inspite of being part of crazy stuff I have did for Palo , but again that goes unnoticed because yeahhh !!
I cannot imagine INSURANCE policy is crap to.even begin with and our beloved Nikesh boasts on news channels about how he made 26 million dollars by buying and selling palo stocks at the right time, personally its not an ideal comparison, I am aware but fix the rot please , I am relatively young, I can find an other job directly with the competitors no doubt plenty of companies out there , who are not having that of a huge market cap but they respect their employees, I can move there but I am just thinking how long would this hide and seek game continue. it has to come to an end after all one or the other day….
To every customer out there before you pay a lot of money check with your representatives to know with whom you even get to deal first.
1.) Constant harassment from sales team 2.) very Less pay(mostly these vendors gambling and eating up ) 3.) no proper system in place for these shitty vendors 4.) crap insurance policy 5.) already stripped benefits
BETTER TO LEAVE THIS SHITHOLE and Sometimes feels better to leave this country…
