Soul of the Monkey King

Name: Soul of the Monkey King

Description: The user has the ability to summon a powerful shikigami called Kong, a stone monkey with golden fur and unique capabilities not commonly seen in other shikigami or curses. Its main ability is to alter its size at will and transmute its fur into objects like powerful rods or sub-shikigami in the form of other monkeys due to its main ability called "72 transformations," which is a simple way which is just self transmutation. The shikigami is somewhat sentient and chooses its host in the form of reincarnations. It is very antagonistic and resides in the user's body as a sentient voice or is summoned by itself in a chibi form, and talks smack to the user. The user only starts with the shikigami at 10% of its true power (strong, durable, make a big staff, grow or shrink)

The Kong rods themselves are extremely durable red cylindrical barriers that can be reshaped to stretch out to great lengths or get to great sizes. Being able to stretch up to over 20 to 30 meters in length and able to turn into a pillar as thick as the user when held by the user, while the shikigami would be twice the length and width when using it. The rod can gain new properties through unlocking new percentages of the shikigami's true power (explained later) and give the user a fundamental grasp on barrier techniques as a side effect. The shikigami is extremely durable and strong, but its power and access to its arsenal scale to the user and can be further accessed once they go through the rituals for more access.

It has a secondary ability when the user summons it through their body to elevate physicality greatly, but with a catch. As a binding vow and dick move, the user has to ramp up the amount of access they can have to Kong's power in the form of percentages. He has to go through a battle ritual where he has to beat Kong at the maximum allowed percentage of power the user can access to be able to access more of the shikigami's powers and physicality. If he wins, he can access more of the shikigami's power and physicality through his body and, as a way to gain from the binding vow, permanently alter their physiology with every victory to gain a buff to their raw physicality (and becoming more monkey-like) and raw durability, and be able to create new extensions using the shikigami's main abilities as he finds the advanced uses to Kong's 72 transformations (self-transformation). Essentially, this is the true potential of this shikigami, and you have to go through multiple solo boss battles to gain more power and access to this shikigami's true power and potential combined with their own in the combined manifestation.

Extension (Percentages Accessed in merged/partial summoning):

  • 10% Kong: The user only manifests a tail and more hair on their head. They gain a boost in raw physicality to make them close to a grade 1 sorcerer.
  • 25% Kong: The user manifests monkey features on only half their face this time. They now get even stronger than before and manifest the staff from their hair.
  • 30% Kong: Their head and arms are now those of a yellow monkey, while their skin looks more stone-like. They can now shrink down and grow up to 5 ft in size and gain even greater durability.
  • 50% Kong: They now look like a hybrid between human and monkey while having a more chaotic personality. The user gains a passive RCT effect for regeneration and self-sustenance, can produce multiple rods from the ground as an attack, and can grow to 15 ft tall. They do start to gain advanced applications of the shikigami's self-transmutation (72 transformations) where they can become physical copies of other people or grow extra body parts, but they aren't perfect copies as they still keep the large monkey tail, red eyes and monkey teeth. So not good shapeshifting.
  • 60% Kong: The passive RCT becomes stronger, and they can now transmute their fur into other objects or weaker monkey shikigami, including just changing their physical properties. Their physical stats are raised considerably, and they create unique barrier techniques based on transmutation and size alteration that can alter the battlefield.
  • 75% Kong: The user now looks like an actual Sun Wukong as they manifest a golden ring on their head, and their curse energy gains a golden glow with transmutative properties. In this stage, the user can transmute themselves to become anyone or curse spirits they have faced before, down to their physical characteristics and chemical makeup, a true upgrade from 50% of its power. They reshape their body at will and gain the physical characteristics of what they eat or have prolonged physical contact. Even being able to use an inferior version of other CE traits through their transmutative CE, or use it to form traced areas with unique properties for traps or unique defensive barrier techniques.
  • 80% Kong: The user is now 80% of unlocking the shikigami's true potential, as they are now semi-immortal due to their passive RCT and survive decapitations as they gain an "extra life" like a video game. Their transmutative capabilities evolve to turn a hair into a perfect copy of themselves instead of monkey drone shikigami, and form a network of clones that follow orders and work as a unit or follow orders. They are one grade weaker than the main user and can be destroyed in a few hits. Each clone costs CE and runs on the user's reserves at this stage. The clones can gain knowledge, and the user can freely absorb their knowledge. The user's physicality keeps elevating, and the rods they create can stretch out to nearly a kilometer in length and move at Mach speeds.
  • 90% Kong: Unlocking 90% of the shikigami's power allows the clones they create to be equal in strength and durability to the user, along with being able to live autonomously from the user, evolve from the user, and transfer knowledge and skills to the original. They have their own reserves separate from the user, while the original gains a permanent side effect of growing their reserves to an immense degree (can absorb the reserves of other clones). They can transmute their fur into any object they desire, which includes perfect copies of curse tools or fictional weapons (cost the user's own CE). That, and the fact that they can create perfect copies of other people from their fur that are indistinguishable from the original that are completely loyal to the user and his clones (they don't have the original's technique, but a CE trait that emulates it).
  • 100% Kong (True Wukong): Defeating the shikigami at its strongest alone now completely tames this beast and grants its true power. Their physicality completely surpasses that of HR users, and they are immortal while merged, as they gain multiple lives through this. They can transmute themselves into any person, any physical form, or even any state of matter. Copying a person down to the last molecule and access their technique for a period of time (5 minutes), or creating perfect clones of them to work for you. The clones gain the ability to make clones, resulting in armies as strong as the user, and create rods that are completely indestructible and span a 300-meter radius, along with the fact that they can get to the size of a building that can get to space. The monkey will kill anyone who even tries to get this far, as its pride will not allow any user to get this far or completely subjugate it, because if the user gets to 100%, the shikigami permanently fuses with the user along with all their powers and combined stats. Becoming the Great Sage Equal to Heaven himself.

The shikigami is powerful, but the ritual is the same as Mahoraga's, and the user has to go through multiple rituals to unlock more and more percentages of its true power. Each ritual is much more difficult than the last, as you break the shikigami down little by little to tame it completely. The shikigami will allow the user to try as many times as he wants, but after taming it to 50%, it will try to kill the user in battle, no matter his own fate, as it will reincarnate in another user and start from 0. It's basically a Mahoraga situation that gets more and more difficult and lethal with each percentage he unlocks through rituals (getting to 90% to 100% is basically fighting a Mahoraga that can create an army of itself that can copy techniques or choose to jump you with your enemies). Each ritual fight lets the user use only the percentage access of the shikigami you have unlocked and only 1 curse tool. No outside help at all. It is far more difficult to defeat 90% to 100% Wukong than taming the real Mahoraga as Megumi.

Domain Expansion: Real of the Victorious Fighting Buddha

The target is transported to the courts of heaven in a giant battlefield covered in the corpses of celestial beings and gods defeated by Sun Wukong in Journey to the West. At the top of a giant red pillar, Kong rains down plucked hairs that transmute into cursed spirits and shikigami based on what the user has fought and won against, along with shikigami based on monsters of the Chinese mythos. Everything and everyone will fight the target until they die. If the target wins, Kong becomes a giant that will entrap the target in its hand and crush them until they are bound by the great Buddha himself.

What do you think of this technique? I based it off the Kong talent from Ordeal and other similar abilities.
