Free Professional Portfolio Domains for Those Who Can’t Afford One

What is filipino-talent.com

I built a small free service where Filipino remote workers and freelancers can get a clean subdomain like juan.filipino-talent.com. You point it at a portfolio you already have, and we handle the DNS.

This is currently an alpha build, and I'm the solo maintainer, so things may change or break while I work on it.

Why

A lot of us start with a link like juan-portfolio.github.io or my-site.vercel.app. It works, but it looks less professional when you send it to a client or recruiter. This gives you a short, consistent name without paying for a domain.

How it works

1. You fill out the form on the site and pick the name you want.
2. It goes live automatically, usually within 15 minutes.
3. You connect the subdomain in your host's dashboard (GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, Vercel, etc.). There is a one-page guide for each.
4. You’ll need to verify that you own the portfolio before the subdomain is approved. The verification email must be sent from the email address listed on your portfolio.

You keep your existing site and setup. We only handle the subdomain.

Free limits

DNS records are limited to 150 for now. I may increase this later if there is demand, but for now it is first come, first served.

Inspired by is-a.dev

This is inspired by the is-a.dev project, which does the same thing for developers. I wanted a version for Filipinos in the remote work space.

This is meant for people who cannot afford their own domain yet. Once you can buy one, just email [remove@filipino-talent.com](mailto:remove@filipino-talent.com) and I will free your name for the next person.
