Ethernet connection on PS5 keeps dropping

I have a wired connection on my PS5 and every few minutes I will lose connection during a game. When I dashboard, the game cards won’t load either which tells me there’s a connection issue (I do not get a pop up saying LAN is disconnected)
So I go to settings to check and it says the LAN is connected but is “checking” for Internet connection. A few minutes later it will say everything is connected and work fine but the issue repeats.

The wifi connection seems to work fine, it’s just very laggy which is why I hard wired. I’ve replaced the Ethernet cable and that didn’t work. Also saw someone say to change the primary and secondary DNS, hasn’t helped.

Trying to figure out if this is a PS5 issue, my network, or game specific (it only seems to happen when I try to load into the city in NBA 2K27)

Another issue is I’m on a mesh network at my place and don’t have a dedicated router that I can just unplug, it’s just an access point so in order to make any changes or reset I have to call customer support 🤦🏻‍♂️ in order to have my wired connection, I’m running like a 75 foot cable from the Ethernet port on the wall all the way to the room my PS5 is in.
