I'm visiting a location that uses a cellular 5G Verizon Internet Gateway appliance. Enabling any Encrypted DNS (TLS or HTTPS) with a hostname breaks DNS resolution on the Beryl 7 (GL-MT3600BE).
I'm unable to replicate this on a tethered T-Mobile connection with my personal phone.
The observation is exactly as reported in this bug from v4.8.4 but isn't entirely applicable as tethering resolves the issue.
Is this a common problem for Wi-Fi in the wild? I'm new to this device. I'm guessing Verizon is blacklisting any DNS over TLS or HTTPS so that it can sniff.
