Since there's basically no content demonstrating UMR-Ultra used without management cloud I've decided to ask my questions here before I consider shelling out money for this device in the future.
1) Do I really have to activate it first with cloud account even when I intend to use this device standalone for its entire lifetime? Do I have to re-activate after resetting it to factory defaults?
2) What can I change in local panel and/or companion app? Can I set my own local IP subnet(s), my own DNS, a non-default VLAN and maybe VPN client to a non-UniFi concentrator (any protocol but IKEv2 is preferred)? Can I force it to work with certain LTE band provided by my network of choice (eg. only 800 or only 2600)?
3) Is there any information about faults (eg. issues with cellular signal) provided or do I have to maintain cloud management for logging to see this?
I haven't tried those industrial devices before but I do have some basic experience with UniFi ecosystem.
