Helper for Morphe – A Morphe helper app that’s very helpful to you

Helper for Morphe is a download assistant app designed to make it easier for you to find APK files to patch with Morphe Manager. With Helper for Morphe, you won’t have to waste time searching manually on Google. Helper for Morphe also includes VirusTotal protection, which scans every downloaded application before it is processed by Morphe Manager. I’ll explain how to connect it to Morphe Manager and then walk you through all its features.

A. Installation and Configuration of Helper for Morphe

1. Download and install Helper for Morphe
2. Open the Morphe Manager app
3. Open Settings and go to System options
4. Find and enable the APK Download Helper option
5. Congratulations! Helper for Morphe is now connected to Morphe Manager
6. Open Morphe Manager, select the app entry you want to patch, click “Patch,” select the “Yes, help me find the APK” option, choose “Use helper app,” and click “Open helper app.” You’ll then be automatically redirected to the helper, where it will download the APK, scan it, and return it to Morphe to continue the patching process

B. Explanation of Feature

1. Save downloads: This setting gives you two options for raw APK files that have been downloaded: (1) store in cache (the APK file is not visible in storage) or (2) store in downloads (the APK file can be found). If you do not want to save the raw APK file, you can select the first option
2. Auto-clear after hand-off: This feature allows the helper to delete raw APK cache files that have been processed by Morphe Manager so they don’t take up space on your device. Enable this option along with “Store in cache” for it to work.
3. Source: This is the selection of app stores that serve as the helper’s source for finding raw APK files to be patched. You can select all 10 available stores or remove some of them. Customize this according to your needs.
4. Network Policy: This is the connection setting used by the helper (Wi-Fi, mobile data, or both).
5. AdGuard DNS: This protects the helper from ads and trackers when you search for apps using the “Open in App” method (more details will be explained in the app search methods).
6. Fast Mode: a method for quickly and automatically searching for apps across all sources based on the selected app stores. Highly recommended if you’d rather not search manually in each app store.
7. Which version to fetch: an option that determines what type of app to search for in Fast Mode, including “requested version” (searches based on requests from the Morphe patch source), “latest version” (searches for the latest version), and “always ask.”
8. Source Health, which is an option that indicates the availability of app stores.
9. VirusTotal: settings to configure protection for your device. The API for free accounts has a quota of 15,500 scans per month, which is reset monthly. There are no hidden fees. Here’s a guide to setting up the VirusTotal API:

a. Create a free VirusTotal account

b. Click the profile icon and select the “API Key” menu

c. Click the eye icon to display your API Key, then copy the code and paste it into Helper for Morphe. Now you have stronger protection

C. App Search Methods

1. Fast Mode: A quick search that automatically finds the app requested by Patch Morphe, scans it with Virus Total (requires an API), and displays the scan results (whether it’s free of threats or not). Click “Process” to return to Morphe.
2. Manual Mode (open in app): A search method that takes you to the app store’s virtual browser page to download the app.

D. Notes

1. Sometimes the helper cannot find the specific app requested by the patch. I often experience this, and the solution is to try a second search method or click “Version” in the helper to find the app version that you and the patch need.
2. Helper for Morphe is not a patch update manager app; its function is to assist Morphe in finding, downloading, and scanning raw apps.
