Error code 9908

Hi everybody, error 9908 started appearing on my gf's Windows 11 PC after 7.1 update. She tried to solve it the entire day but she couldn't, even after she tried repairing and reinstalling. So I decided to gave it a shot myself and it worked. I'm going to explain the whole process in case it may help somebody. I would also like to add that I don't know if something was the exact solution or everything at once helped.

First, I tried what other posts in Reddit say about deleting some files in "Permanent", but it didn't worked.

After that, I turned off and on the router and the PC, it didn't worked. Changed DNS to quad9 (IPv4 9.9.9.9 or IPv6 2620:fe::fe), still it didn't worked. Then I checked the SSD life (as the PC was crashing too while trying to update and I was afraid that the SSD might be dying) but it was fine.

I searched for the error logs and saw some errors loading three files every time it crashed, two in japanese audio files and one in a streaming folder (both in Permanent), deleted both folders, loaded the game again and it downloaded the missing files (like 18/19gbs, all jp audio+more). After verifying, the game loaded and it works completely fine and we played for 2 hours, no more random crashes (I guess it ran out of memory, tomorrow I will look at it).

So my non-educated guess is that it is caused by corrupted files in the permanent folder so the next time I would begin there next time and save myself an hour of browsing the internet and praying to God. That's pretty much it, hope you enjoyed my post.
