Beryl AX + Tailscale Exit Node Connects but Kills Internet

I am trying to set up GL.iNet Beryl AX (GL-MT3000) – Tailscale – Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q (Windows) – Orbi

I want all travel traffic to exit through my home Xfinity IP.

Lenovo M920q has Tailscale installed, connected, and shows as exit node.
Tailscale admin dashboard shows Lenovo as exit node.
Beryl shows tailscale installed and connected to the same tailnet.
Beryl’s Custom Exit Node can see/select the Lenovo.
Beryl connects upstream to my home Wi-Fi via Repeater and gets an IP/gateway/DNS.
Phone connects to Beryl’s Wi-Fi.

However:
Beryl repeater + phone internet works normally with Tailscale off.
Tailscale on, but no exit node selected – internet works.
Select Lenovo as Custom Exit Node – phone remains connected to Beryl Wi-Fi, but all internet stops.
Lenovo machine has normal internet.

What am I missing to make the Beryl route traffic through the Windows Tailscale exit node and WiFi to work?
