Cursed Technique: Seimei no Genso
This is a high-risk, high-reward technique centered around a single, highly adaptable Shikigami named Kagero (Mayfly).
The Core Ritual & Mechanics
Kagero cannot survive for more than ten seconds on its own. Summoning it requires a very specific, gruesome activation ritual:
— The Cost: The user must feed the larval Kagero exactly 1 lb of a Jujutsu Sorcerer's flesh.
— The Command: The user issues a single, specific order to the larva.
— The Timer: Kagero has exactly 5 minutes to live. During this time, it evolves through three stages to carry out the command: Larva (0:00 – 2:00), Semi-imago (2:01 – 3:30), and Imago (3:31 – 5:00). Its physical form adapts specifically to the task it was given.
— The Reset: After 5 minutes, Kagero dies. The user can summon it again, but they have to restart the flesh-feeding ritual.
Example Commands
Because Kagero's biology shifts to accommodate its order, the user must be highly deliberate with their phrasing during the Larval stage:
— "Decapitate that sorcerer." -> Imago Form: A sleek, aerodynamic mantis-like entity with razor-sharp scythe appendages, prioritizing blinding speed and lethality over defense.
— "Protect me from all physical attacks." -> Imago Form: A massive, heavily armored beetle-like creature with a thick, cursed energy-absorbent carapace designed to act as an impenetrable wall.
— "Immobilize the target." -> Imago Form: A fast-moving arachnid form capable of rapidly secreting and shooting highly durable, paralyzing cursed-thread webbing.
— "Destroy that barrier." -> Imago Form: A bulky, brute-force entity that acts as a living battering ram, generating localized explosive bursts of cursed energy on impact.
Power Scaling (The Payout)
Kagero’s ultimate strength is directly tied to the power of the sorcerer whose flesh it consumed.
— If a Grade 1 user feeds Kagero their own flesh, the Semi-imago stage will roughly equal their Grade 1 strength.
— By the time it hits the final Imago stage, Kagero experiences a massive power spike, jumping to Special Grade 1.
— If fed the flesh of a Special Grade sorcerer, Imago Kagero scales to an anomalous level far beyond standard Special Grade limits.
The Drawbacks
— Extreme Vulnerability: Kagero is incredibly easy to kill during the 2-minute Larval stage. The user has to aggressively protect it while dealing with the trauma of losing a pound of flesh.
— Singular Focus: You can only summon one Kagero. It is a unique, marked entity, meaning if an enemy figures out the mechanic, all their focus goes to squashing the bug early. (If it's dead you can summon it again)
Advanced Jujutsu
— Cursed Technique Reversal: While Lapse is the initial summon, the Reversal allows the user to instantly dismiss the Shikigami, cutting the 5-minute cycle short.
— Maximum Technique: The ultimate sacrifice. The user orders Kagero to replace them, sacrificing their entire body. This births a fully independent, permanent Kagero that takes over and lives out the rest of the user's life.
— Domain Expansion: The sure-hit effect is an unavoidable, invisible bite that instantly harvests the required 1 lb of meat directly from the opponent. Inside the Domain, Kagero’s 5-minute death timer is paused, and it evolves into the Imago stage twice as fast.
Overall technique kinda mid ts all sounded much better in my head. And there also my bum ass artworks if you can call them so.
Anyway thanks for reading.
