mullvad check is showing spain, but i am in the US

hello, thanks for the great combination of mullvad vpn, mullvad browser and mullvad browser plugin. such a simple, elegant solution.

why is all my traffic, every website going thru Spain? for example, duckduckgo thinks i am in Spain? please see enclosed image.

1. i am not using mullvad vpn app. my laptop is windows 2H52.
2. i connect to mullvad using wireguard app, endpoint us=phx-wg-203 using Endpoint = 23.234.89.3:51820
3. as per the enclosed image, the mullvad browser plugin has all websites set to Utah, USA
4. in the upper right corner, can see the icon US
