The problem I have is that the Tailscale Android app has a bug that causes it to lose the connection to the DNS resolver. I’m not certain whether this bug is specific to Tailscale or related to Android in general. The issue is that I use Technitium as my DNS server, and when Tailscale loses contact with the DNS resolver, I lose all my ad-blocking and filtering.I’ve experimented with using MacroDroid to check Tailscale every 30 or 60 minutes, but so far I haven’t been able to determine whether it will work reliably. I’m wondering how much work it would be to migrate to NetBird, and whether NetBird would have similar issues.My setup consists of 5 VPSs, 2 desktops (1 Windows, 1 Linux), a laptop, a Chromebook, 3 cell phones, and 2 tablets — all Android devices.
