My spectrums been having problems retaining internet and WiFi lately I think I know what’s going on. I think I need to either change some ip addresses or reconfigure the DNS to look at google instead of spectrum.
Because my phone and desktop has been dropping it’s internet and wifi from spectrum at the same time, while my tv retains its connection and continued playing its movie without me remoting into my router and restarting it I think it’s a dns problem. If i want my phone and desktop to have internet again then i need to remote in and restart the router and modem a few times. my desktop is hardwired into my system I’ve noticed it’s not always pulling correct info regarding its connection status. when internet drops the pc still says it’s connected to internet but it won’t load nothin until I restart the whole wifi system. And durring its most recent drop with my tv still playing its show but phone and desktop dropped internet as soon as i shut down my pc and turn my phones wifi off and on again i regained internet access and wifi
