Is jailbreaking actually safe if you might return to stock in the future?

I know this might be a stupid question, but I’m trying to understand the risks before making any decision.

I’ve been looking into this for a while, but I haven’t found a clear answer. Ultimately, whether Sony bans accounts/consoles for this is something only Sony really knows, and there doesn’t seem to be enough reliable long-term data.

In my case, I have around 45 platinum trophies, a lot of digitally purchased games, and an active PS Plus subscription. Both my PS4 and PS5 are currently on vulnerable firmware, but I’m concerned about potentially losing my account and everything I’ve built up on it.
Maybe jailbreaking simply isn’t for me, and that’s completely fair too.

I know it’s technically possible to earn trophies while using a jailbreak, but using a main PSN account in that environment isn’t recommended. My main concern is also whether any logs or telemetry could remain on the console and potentially become relevant later, even after returning to official firmware. DNS blocking doesn’t seem like something that can guarantee that nothing is ever reported either.

So, for people with experience in this:

If you used a jailbreak and later returned to completely stock firmware, what was your experience afterwards? Did you use PSN normally again? Did you notice any issues with your account or console?
I’m not asking for a guaranteed “safe” method, I understand nobody can guarantee that. I’m mainly interested in real experiences and whether there is any evidence that returning to stock actually removes the risk, or whether some uncertainty remains.
