***Creation of All Things***
I'll start this by talking about the creation of all things
Specifically the method discussed in Daoist philosophy
Which is highly impled to be the same system used in RI

From the Taoist classic Tao Te Ching, it was held that "The Tao produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three; Three produced All things." It is generally agreed by Taoist scholars that Tao produced One means Wuji produced Taiji, and One produced Two means Taiji produced Yin and Yang. However, the subject of how Two produced Three has remained a popular debate among Taoist scholars. Most scholars believe that it refers to the Interaction between Yin and Yang, with the presence of Chi, or life force
The Tao produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three; Three produced All things
This is the key to identifying the origin of all paths
Here we see that Wuji produced Taiji and Taiji produced yin & yang
Wuji is actually somthing mentioned in RI
Wuji ( ζ ζ) translates to without limit
It is the emptiness believed to the origin of all things
Of course origin of all things doesn't mean origin of all paths π
Wuji is actually the original Chinese name of Limitless!
ζ ζιε° = Limitless Demon Venerable
Limitless's main goal is to be limitless
Unbound by all limitations and capable of all things
After all, limits basically don't tell you what you can't do π
So being Limitless basically means being able to anything
This is actually connected to eternal life
Chapter 2190
Gu Immortals could obtain longevity, but they were bound by lifespan, Fate, and other restrictions. Even though Fate was destroyed now, and lifespan restrictions were greatly relaxed, they could still be killed by a stronger enemy.
Eternal life was absolutely greater than longevity.
Speaking of longevity, the ten thousand years old turtle living in the sea could also be considered to have longevity, but it could not be considered to have eternal life.
Eternal life meant that everyone and everything could not threaten the individualβs existence.
It meant complete invincibility.
Be it time, space, or living beings, none could threaten an entity with eternal life.
The concept of eternal life was paramount and above all.
So Limitless plans to overcome all limits to obtain eternal life!
I see why he chose to create rule path
Since that path deals with limitations and restrictons
Furthermore, phantom path seems to be connected to wuji

And presently, Fang Yuan was in this void where countless worlds were created and destroyed. Obviously, this void was also a supreme profundity of phantom path.
So one of the supreme profundities of phantom path is void
In Crazed Demon Cave, there is a boundless void where countless worlds are created and destroyed
This is actually a representation of the universe!
The universe exists within a massive void (wuji)
And in that void exists chaos (forming the chaos sea)
And the chaos sea involves the constant movement of yin and yang
Which ultimately results in the creation and destruction of worlds
This also shows the method on how the Gu world was created π

Next up is taiji which is the supreme ultimate and origin of all matter

Taiji is understood to be the highest conceivable principle from which existence flows. This is very similar to the Daoist idea "reversal is the movement of the Dao". The "supreme ultimate" creates yang and yin. Movement generates yang, and when its activity reaches its limit, it becomes tranquil. Through tranquility the supreme ultimate generates yin. When tranquility has reached its limit, there is a return to movement. Movement and tranquility, in alternation, each become the source of the other. The distinction between the yin and the yang is determined and their two forms stand revealed. By the transformations of the yang and the union of the yin, emerge the 4 directions and then the 5 phases (wuxing) of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
Here we can see that taiji is the source of yin and yang
It represents the ultimate form of matter from which yin and yang are derived
And through yin and yang, all other forms of matter are created
Taiji is the supreme ultimate that contains all forms of yin and all forms of yang
The primordial matter in which yin and yang are obscure
We actually see this profundity in yin-yang tea
With taiji representing the first level
Chapter 1317
Qiao Si Liu then said to Lun Fei: βYin-yang tea, although it is not a unique creation, I have heard of it before. There are three levels to brewing this tea. First level is when yin and yang are obscure. Second layer is when yin and yang are separate. Third level is when yin contains yang, and yang contains yin, yin and yang revolving around each other. Lun Fei, your skill can be seen for being able to achieve the second level of brewing this tea, there are probably less than ten people who can achieve that in the whole of Southern Border, worthy of a food path Gu Immortal like you.β
As stated previously, taiji is the primordial matter fom which all other matter is derived
It's heavily implied that this material is chaos π

Gu Zhenren: The Gu World is always growing and expanding, and the energy conservation follows as such. As for the source of the nourishment for the growth of the world, Iβm sure you can easily guess, right? For example, transmigrators like Fang Yuan and the Chaos.
We know that the Gu world is constantly expanding
The Gu world is already massive
But to think that it's constantly growing in size π
That means that new Dao marks are constantly being added to the Gu world
With a world being a collection of Dao marks
Which creates the question "where are the new Dao marks coming from?"
And Gu Zhen Ren stated that the source of the Gu world's growth is chaos
Chaos is the source of all Dao marks π€―
To be fair, this does answer the question "where do Dao marks come from?"
As well as how Dao marks are created
I've said this many times previously, but this post is made to be the definitive answer
Dao marks are composed of yin and yang
It's the same with atoms in this world
All matter is composed of atoms
And atoms are of composed of protons, electrons, neutrons
If you take two objects (like metal and wood for example)
If you divided them further, you would see the atoms they are composed of
And if you divided even further…
You would see the same thing in both!
A combination of protons, neutrons, electrons π€―
That means that the two different objects were actually composed of the same thing!
To be more specific, existence is composed of matter, energy, laws which exist in spacetime
Matter in the Gu world is composed of Dao marks
Energy is qi
Qi isn't strictly made of Dao marks
Although qi path Dao marks can transition between qi and Dao mark states
Qi can also be converted into Dao marks
This is how Qi Jue managed to so many obtain Dao marks π
Limitless got so many Dao marks by using the quantity profundity of rule path
He directly increased the quantity of his Dao marks using rule path methods
Kind of like quantity change Gu but on a much higher level π
Lastly, laws represent law fragments
Chapter 847
Gu were the essence of heaven and earth, why is it that they possess all sorts of mysterious powers? It was because they contained the natural laws of heaven and earth. Mortal Gu contained meager traces of laws, while Immortal Gu contained fragments.
Again law fragments/traces are not strictly made of Dao marks
But they can be created through a specific combination Dao marks
This is because Dao marks contain traces of laws which is how they create change in large numbers

With energy/qi being a property of matter/Dao marks
Qi and laws are also made of yin and yang
All forms of energy are ultimately composed of potential (yin) energy and kinetic (yang) energy

Although this involves abstract yin-yang pairs like hot-cold, slow-fast, positive-negative etc.
Fundamentally matter, energy, laws are all the same thing π
But that's a bit too complicated for this post π
The point is that all existence has the shared origin of yin and yang
Yin and yang is derived from chaos
With chaos representing taiji: the primordial matter from which all other matter derives
And he supreme ultimate which is the source of yin and yang
The description of chaos supports this as well
Chapter 2208
Through this hole, the Gu Immortals could see a vast sea of β Chaos!
It seemed like black, yet it was not black. It seemed like white, yet it was not white.
If one said it was light, it would be light. If one said it was darkness, it would be darkness.
Almost no descriptive word in the world could accurately describe it.
Because chaos was just chaos after all.
It clearly incorporates yin and yang in an indistinct form
And not be said to fall into any of the 2 extremes
As I mentioned earlier, yin and yang originate from chaos
This is the second level of yin-yang tea
Where yin and yang become seperate
The third level is where yin and yang interwtine as complementary but distinct entities
This is called interdependence
And it's where the true nature of yin-yang path lies!
And it's also the origin of Dao marks
Yin and yang originate from chaos and intertwine into various forms
And these different forms correlate to the different Dao marks
We saw this in Crazed Demon Cave
The myriad Dao marks and various worlds all originated from chaos
With deriviation Gu deriving chaos into the myriad forms of yin and yang
Tao produced 1, 1 produced 2, 2 produced 3, 3 produced all things
Tao = Wuji
1 = Taiji
2 = Yin & Yang
As for the 3, this is heaven, human, earth
And from heaven, human, earth all other Dao marks are born!
This is connected to the process of originate which gives births to all paths
After all, all paths are derived from some kind of foundation

Venerables are not the only ones capable of discovering and making use of otherworldly dao marks. When a path is founded, the dao marks have to be derived from a certain foundation.

***Origin of All Paths***
Heaven, human, earth each have five core attributes which results in 5 direct descendents
And from these descendents more paths are created through combination
And in this way, all paths originate from heaven, human, earth
The 3 that produces All Things
**Heaven**
The 5 core attributes of heaven path are omnipotence, omniscience, omniprescence, omnibenevolence, omnifariousness
These are the 5 main attributes of God
Showing the relationship between heaven path and divinity
Omnipotence is represented by enslavement path which is one of the 5 direct descendents of heaven path
Enslavement path originates from the heaven path supreme profundity of Fate
The essence of enslavement path is direction
Direction is the way that something changes and develops
Fate Gu controls the development of all things
With Fate being the greatest enslavement
In fact, Primordial Origin actually created enslavement path through his research of Fate Gu
That explains why Primordial Origin of all people created enslavement path π
Enslavement path represents the power of Heaven which transcends even the Venerables π
Chapter 2135
Heaven path comprises everything and balances everything, all living beings, be they immortals or mortals, powerful or weak, are included in heaven path. All kinds of Immortal Gu, Secluded Domains of Heaven and Earth, are also under the restrictions of heaven path. Heaven path controls Calamities and Tribulations, it controls Lifespan Gu. Venerables were powerful for an era, but when compared to heaven path, they are like a burning torch.
Omniscience is represented by information path
It represents the knowledge of Heaven which has knowledge of all things
Chapter 2275
By activating heavenly secret Immortal Gu, one could peek into the intention of heaven's will, it could allow the Gu Immortal to get an answer from heaven and earth. There were no events in the world that heaven and earth did not know of. It was as the saying goes, except you and me, only heaven and earth know. It could expose the secrets of heaven and earth, even if the Gu Immortal did not have any evidence or clues, it could directly lead them to the truth.
The essence of information path is certainty
Information path allows one to know the current state of all things
Information path origintes from the Clairvoyance supreme profundity of heaven path
This is the profundity from which Heavenly Secret Gu originates from
All Gu worms of a path represent different laws and profundities of that path
Omnipresence is represented by refinement path
It represents how Heaven is present within all areas of the Gu world throughout its entire existence
Chapter 1075
βHeavenβs will is vast, it is everywhere, all over the five regions and nine heavens, it spans across the past, present, and future. The way of heaven is to take away surpluses while replenishing deficits, it emphasizes on balance. And the way of humans is exactly the opposite, it is to reduce the deficits and build up the surpluses. The two are complete opposites, and they are in conflict with each other.β
The essence of refinement path is arrangement
It represents the movement of all Dao marks
Heaven's will exists across the entire Gu world and influences the movement of Dao marks into balanced arrangements
Chapter 1972
βThe way of heaven is to take away surpluses while replenishing deficits. It focuses on the balance of living beings, they limit each other. Even in an extreme environment like the snow crystal formation, the Heavenly Dao could alter it and create fire path dao marks within the ice and snow path dao marks, once the frost ice flame spreads its destruction, Mini Northern Plains would be completely altered beyond recognition.β
This is the mechanism behind the natural formation of resource points and secluded domains
After all, the arrangement of Dao marks occurs in all places π
Refinement path originates from the heaven path supreme profundity of assimilation which is the shared origin of refinement path and the next two direct descendents
Omnibenevolence is represented by theft path
It represents the fair and impartal nature of Heaven that accepts all things
Chapter 1022
βYour memories have already completely dissipated, you lack my knowledge. Heavenβs will never made things difficult for us out of dislike. It also never helped us out of pity. The way of heaven is to be impartial, it is to take away surpluses while replenishing deficits. So all things are in balance and mutually restrict each other. As such, almost all fierce beasts have their natural enemies, and even rank nine venerables have limited lifespan.β
Taking away surpluses and replenishing deficits are theft path profundities π
Of course, theft path is a direct descendent of heaven path so all theft path profundities are actually heaven path profundities π
Heaven views all things as equal
As such it views pain as equal to pleasure π
And tries to have an equal amount of the two
This is the omnibenevolent nature of Heaven
Benevolent to all things!!!
Omnipresence is represented by transformation path
It represents the nature of Heaven as one with all things
Chapter 2135

Of course, the heaven path dao marks were not just increasing. Sometimes, they fell in numbers, one heaven path dao mark turned into many dao marks of other paths, spreading throughout the world.
Using the transformation of these dao marks, in accordance with the Heavenly Dao, the environment of the entire sovereign immortal aperture was modified.
Like the scene that Fang Yuan was observing now, light was appearing in the sky, it meant that light path dao marks were increasing in numbers. There was also wind and rumbling sand on the ground, it meant that wind path and earth path dao marks were also increasing in numbers.

**Earth**
Next up is earth
Which is represented by world path
The term earth in heaven and earth is best translated as world
Kind of like how Earth refers to this planet
The 5 core attributes of world path are time, space, matter, energy, laws
This is the 5 pillars of existence
This is easier to explain than heaven path
Because not many of these paths need to be interpreted π
Time and space clearly refers to time path and space path
Laws refer to rule path
And energy refers to qi path
Matter refers to formation path
The essence of formation path is bonds
Formation path represents the myriad bonds that connect yin and yang, giving birth to all matter
In fact, the various elements that compose all matter in this world can be defined as formations!
Born from the bonds that connect protons, electrons, neutrons
The same naturally applies to Dao marks as well
Rule path originates from the world path supreme profundity of karma
This represents the cause and effect relationships which is different between worlds
The rules of the Gu world are very different from the rules of this world π
The origin of formation path is the element supreme profundity of world path
As I mentioned earlier, all elements originate from the bonds between yin and yang
The elements of the periodic table represent the atoms that give rise to all matter
Lastly, qi path, time path, and space path all have the shared origin of the environment supreme profundity of world path
And thus these are the 5 direct descendents of world path!
Of course this can combine to form other paths
Like how poison path is refinement path + formation path
Or how food path is transformation path + qi path
**Human***
The five core elements of human path are body, mind, heart, soul, spirit
Mind and soul refer to wisdom path and soul path
Body refers to strength path
Heart and spirit refer to heart path and spirit path
Two paths that have yet to be created π
Strength path originates from the human path supreme profundity of vitality
Wisdom path, heart path, spirit path have the shared origin of the human supreme profundity of cognition
Soul path actually originates from the human path supreme profundity of luck π
Which is a whole post in and of itself π©
It also reveals the secret origin of the soul which is required to comprehend soul path
No wonder soul path wasn't created until Spectral Soul π
Here we can see how multiple paths originate from the three supreme paths of heaven path, human path, world path
And their direct descendents combine to create many other paths
And the three supreme paths all originate from yin-yang path
Which also has 5 direct descendents π
**Yin-Yang**
The five direct descedentss of yin-yang path are heaven path, human path, world path. samsara path, destiny path
The three supreme profundities of yin-yang path are destiny, samsara, form
With the form supreme profundity of yin-yang path being the shared origin of heaven path, human path, world path
Representig the three main forms of yin and yang
Heaven path represents the abstract form which is part of all concepts
World path represents the physical form which is part of physical reality
Human path represents the humane form which is part of the human experience and makes up all lifeforms
Yin and yang combine to create heaven path, human path, world path Dao marks
And those Dao marks are the origin of all other Dao marks
Enslavement path Dao marks are derived from heaven path Dao marks
With heaven path Dao marks having the functionality of its 5 direct descendents
Its 5 direct descendents contain a part of heaven path Dao marks functionality
Similarly, phantom path Dao marks are derived from rule path Dao marks
And the direct descendents combine to form other Dao marks
Like how refinement path and formation path Dao marks combine to create poison path Dao marks
In this way, heaven, human, earth create all other Dao marks
These is the 3 that produces all things
And it all originates from yin and yang which is the shared origin of all things
Yin and yang combine to form all form all Dao marks, law fragments, and qi
All paths are specific expressions of yin and yang
That's why yin-yang path is the origin of all paths!!!
***The importance of Yin-Yang Path***
I'll end the post by talking about the importance of yin-yang path
It should be fairly obvious, but yin-yang path is not a regular path π
Even conceptually, yin and yang are the origin of all existence
After all, in Daoism yin and yang is the 2 that produces 3 which produces all things
So all things can trace their origins to yin and yang
Of course there is also Wuji and Taiji but that exists beyond existence as know it
In fact, Wuji and Taiji transcend the limits of Dao marks π
Even in other fiction, yin and yang is usually the ultimate ability that transcends all others
For example, in Naruto, Yin-Yang Release is the most fundamental and powerful nature transformation
Because all chakra is a blend of these two energies, Yin-Yang Release allows users to manipulate chakra at its source
So it should be pretty obvious that the author clearly has huge plans for yin-yang path
I already mentioned how yin and yang compose all Dao marks
That means that yin-yang path Dao Lord would be able to comprehend all Dao marks π
More specifically, they are comprehending the yin and yang within those Dao marks
So yin-yang path Dao Lord is the best method for refining all Dao marks and turning the world into your external aperture
Chapter 2105
Old Eccentric Tian Nan described his grand and maniacal ambitions in this true inheritance.
He wanted to refine the immemorial two heavens and even the five regions, to turn them into his own external immortal aperture!

Fang Yuan has already received Giant Sun's yin-yang path research
Chapter 2298
Right now, the yin-yang path research result that Giant Sun Immortal Venerable handed to Fang Yuan was much more complete and comprehensive than the one hidden in Eighty-Eight True Yang Building.
And with Fang Yuan's otherworldly knowledge, he could understand the secrets of yin-yang path
At the very least, he come to the conclusion that yin and yang compose all Dao marks
Becausee protons and electrons compose all atoms
This is a perspective that Giant Sun couldn't consider
Since he viewed yin-yang path as just another path
And not the origin of all paths which is what it is
But Fang Yuan has a different perpspective because of his scientific knowledge
Chapter 821
Because he had experiences from two worlds, Fang Yuan could observe this world from another angle, he could understand logic that others could not sense or comprehend.
Furthermore, yin and yang are a core part of Chinese philosophy
Other philosophies don't cover it as much π
Their interdepedent nature, the way they generate each other, and how they combine to form all things
No wonder Giant Sun failed to create yin-yang path
His view on it was far too shallow π
We take for granted our current knowledge
But the perspective of the Gu world is largely different from our own
And its this perspective that gives Fang Yuan the best chance of comprehending yin-yang path
Plus it'll give him the best chances for fighting the entire world π
So yin-yang path will be created by Fang Yuan…
And be his final path in the story
It will give him the ability to fight the entire world
And will be the foundation for achieving eternal life!!!
