Hi everyone,
I’ve had a PS Portal for about a year. I don’t own a PS5 and I use the Portal exclusively for Cloud Streaming with a German PlayStation account.
For the past week, I’ve been unable to start any Cloud Streaming game. I keep getting the error:
“Can’t start because your internet connection quality might not be sufficient to play streaming games.”
Sometimes I also get:
“Can’t connect to the server right now. Check your internet connection and firewall settings, and try again.”
What’s strange is that Cloud Streaming was working normally for me before this started.
I have already tried almost everything I could find online:
- 100 Mbps internet connection
- Different Wi-Fi connection
- Mobile hotspot
- 720p streaming
- Changing DNS
- Restarting the Portal
- Reconnecting to Wi-Fi
- Signing out and back into my PSN account
- Updating the Portal
- VPN with a German server
- Sharing a VPN connection from my PC to the Portal
- Different Cloud Streaming games, including WWE 2K26
The same error happens with every game.
My PS Plus Premium subscription is active, my German PSN account works normally, and I can access my account and browse the Cloud Streaming game catalog.
Has anyone experienced the same problem recently and actually found a solution?
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
