DNS Reagent / DNS Assay for Reducing Sugar Analysis

Good day po! May I ask if this product (attached photo) can already be used as a DNS reagent, where we would only need to react it with our samples? Our sample is fermentate po

Or would it be better po to prepare the DNS reagent ourselves using:
• Sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
• 3,5-Dinitrosalicylic acid powder
• Sodium potassium tartrate tetrahydrate
• Distilled water

Which option would you recommend po? We think the first option may be more cost-effective, but we would also like to know which option would be safer and more appropriate for our thesis.
