Hello all, I am currently losing my mind trying to troubleshoot this issue.
Very recently, I.e within the last 3 weeks after having been using tail scale perfectly fine on my pixel 9 pro XL for several months (including using Adguard DNS perfectly fine for a couple weeks), suddenly it seems at least once per day while tailscale is running Google Chrome, Spotify, Reddit, YouTube, and okta verify completely stop working until I either turn off tail scale or restart the phone. If I turn tailscale back on without restarting the issue comes back, but once I restart the clock seemingly starts over and then 12 or more hours or so later the issue comes back.
This is only a problem on my pixel 9 pro XL, not on my iPad mini, MacBook pro, or iPad pro.
I have already tried disabling private DNS in my phone settings, I have tried removing my adguard DNS in tailscale while actively experiencing the issue and that did not help, and I tested splitting traffic with those apps and that did make them work again, clearly because they were bypassing tailscale.
Firefox, Facebook, Instagram, and a few other apps work perfectly fine no matter what, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
I'm not sure if the stuff I tested turning off mattered or not, given I don't know how my device caches things, so maybe all of my testing didn't really change the state of the device, in which case maybe none of what I did means anything.
I am getting some errors in the docker logs for Adguard on my nas saying [error] dnsproxy: response received upstream_type=bootstrap addr=[2620:fe::10]:53 proto=udp status="exchanging with [2620:fe::10]:53 over udp: read udp [fdb3:c557:3d35:c499:6045:5ca1:1dc8:aa2e]:33386->[2620:fe::10]:53: i/o timeout", which seem to be replicating faster after restarting my phone and while using the problem apps. I am just using the default adguard bootstrap addresses, and the default upstream DNS server of quad9 plus I tried adding mullad during my troubleshooting. (Removing this does not stop the errors in the docker console logs).
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Any additional info needed, please ask.
