Been trying to CFW my PHAT PS3 for the last day and a half. Just cannot proceed past HFW, trying to Flash Write Dump.
My PS3 Model CECHC02
Upgraded to a Samsung 1TB SSD a few days ago
OFW: 4.93
Original Internal Hardware (yes, still going strong after it was storage for the past decade)
Here is what I have performed up until now.
-Quick Format/Restore via PS3.
-Removed SSD and connect to PC and did another wipe using MiniTool Partition Wizard.
-Installed SSD back into PS3 and performed another PS3 restoration.
-Rebuild Database via Safe mode PS3.
-Safe Mode installation for OTW from Sony official site.
-Safe Mode installation HFW.
-Reinstalled Original HDD and follow the same process to see if it was a hard drive issue.
-Tried both Wireless AND Ethernet connectivity.
-Reset Date & Time via Internet setting
-Changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (still currently set to that)
-In Web Browser, deleted Cookies, Search History, Cache Authentication Info
-Tried 3 different Mirrors

-Change HTTPS to HTTP for each link in the address bar. (Keeps redirecting back to HTTPS).
-Set Homepage to DuckDuckGo Lite searched "Yahoo Search" via DuckDuckGo and tried loading all 3 Flash Writer URL through DuckDuckGo & Yahoo Search.
-Tested a couple of other random official URL to see if the error code still persist. – All load up and working within the Browser.
-Test the 3 different Mirror on a PC web browser to see if it even works. – Working just fine. (Just tells me needs to be loaded up on the PS3 and not my PC XD)
-Rebooted the router/modem.
-In Administration setting for my ASUS router, switched between the two Authentication method between HTTP & HTTPS
I hate to be the guy reposting the same 1000 post asking for the same fix but I have googled & googled and tried every single method that I was able find to the best of my little knowledge for a fix. STILL NOTHING.
PLEASE HELP, are there any other method that I might of missed?
