I stopped paying for a separate mailbox just to use custom domain email

I recently realized you don’t really need a full mailbox subscription just to use custom domain email.

Cloudflare Email Routing can handle incoming mail and forward it to your existing inbox, while Brevo or Resend can handle sending from your domain.

So instead of paying for something like Google Workspace just for email, you can keep the setup pretty lightweight.

It’s obviously not a full Workspace replacement, but for aliases, contact emails, and app/transactional emails, it works really well.
