I’ve been developing apps for several years, but about a year ago I decided to also study Systems Integration. That put me much deeper into networking, system administration, Windows, macOS, servers and all the tools you end up using along the way.

That’s basically how ForgeNetzwork started.
I wanted one app on my phone that I could actually use while studying and working with networks instead of jumping between different tools. I kept building on it over time, adding the things I found myself needing, and eventually it became a full network & system administration toolkit.

One of the latest additions is a full SSH terminal. I’ve been testing it with real machines on my network, including Windows and macOS. For example, I can connect from my phone, open an interactive shell, run PowerShell or macOS commands, create and manage local users, work with files, and manage the system over SSH. The screenshot is from one of those tests.

Beyond SSH, the app includes subnet/CIDR calculation, VLSM, subnet splitting, route summarization, network monitoring, Ping, DNS Lookup, Traceroute, Whois, Port Scanner and other networking tools. There’s also a command reference and saved SSH hosts.

I built it originally around the tools I wanted for myself while learning and working with systems, so I’d also really appreciate feedback from sysadmins, network engineers, IT students or anyone working with this stuff.
