What is equivalent setup of Windows AD/DNS i can set for home use with Linux?

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well. I’m trying setup linux based Active Directory that I can use for home use.

I’m familiar with Windows environments of AD and ad integrated dns already.

I want to do with using linux so I can learn linux more. I tried openLDAP and kerbros. I didn’t like openLDAP as it looks like even to make small changes an account makes you write 3 lines.

Let me know if there is other options that make sense for home setup.
