[Java] MC server connection instability

I've been having connection issues on connecting a server on the east coast of the US (from SEA). the connection issue is just random disconnects with lag while playing on the server. it can range from afew seconds on login and repeat multiple times in a row to afew min (most around 30mins).

Tried using VPNs, changing DNS, Changing MTUs and already did the flush DNS via the cmd prompt still didn't work.

aswell the connection issue still persist no matter time of day.

but using mobile data does fix it but not sustainable long term.

so anyone got ideas on fixing this?

Information of my setup: I'm using a laptop sitting around 1-2 meters to my router, no walls just a shelf of items between me. MC java 1.21.1
