Using VPN in a banned country

So the game got banned in my country months ago and I wanted to come back to play it but I don't know if a VPN would get me banned, I was thinking of using Proton VPN as people say it is the safest but I don't know, and about Cloudflare warp "Traffic and DNS" mode actually make the game work as well but people say it is risky, and suggest using the "DNS only" mode which doesn't make me able to open Roblox.
