Booked Diwali to chatt ticket in April only

Thumb rule is that tickets are cheapest 2 months before. However not applicable for Diwali and other such festivals. So booked my ticket way back in April. It was of around 14k(currently it’s 24k approx for the same flight)

As a govt employee we book tickets in Balmer lawrie which is fully refundable with free tickets and food(but little costlier usually as no cards offer are there compared to other websites)
