If I make spelling mistakes, pretend I didn't do that (I have dyslexia).
So I have firefox with uBlock origin, and its great. I like the feature where I can select an element on the page (the discord orbs ads for example) and it will block that ad slot forever. uBlock is only for browsers though, so in installed windows applications such as Discord I am still getting the orbs ads and I cannot block them. What I am wondering is there some sort of program or technique I can use to get a similar effect to using uBlock?
I know you can do a home-wide adblock with a pi-hole or just any computer that can be left on to do dns stuff with the router. If I did that, is there a way I could target very specific things such as the orbs banner in Discord? (this is just an example but the orbs banners really annoy me). I've already been thinking about the home-wide solution for its already apparent benefits, so if that can do this extra thing I want here then that would be cool.
