New fountain pen guy here, some reviews & thoughts on these

Hi! I actually deleted the whole intro paragraph to this post just to respect your time and attention. It was too long. I've been collecting these for only a few months. Overall I think fountain pens might not be for me? Or maybe I'm buying too low quality? Or I'm doing something wrong? I hope I can get some advice. Thanks for reading (you can make fun of me and tell me I don't know what I'm doing, totally acceptable)

1. The Hong Dian Black Forest (Fine Nib) with Hong Dian ink, converter – writes very finely, very clear lines, medium scratchiness. I understand the scratchiness is because of the finer nib. This pen has "cut out" on me probably the most of all, though, even after a rinsing/flushing. This one actually feels the nicest to me in the hand.
2. Beiluner (Extra fine Nib) with Beiluner cartridge – writes very finely, very clear lines, very consistent, but its like dragging a rake across concrete. I can't get it to "move", it doesn't feel smooth or buttery at all. Purchase regretted immediately. Feels only OK in the hand. Also, I feel like it's so thin that if I held it between the grooves of a vinyl record, the pen would play the song?
3. Pilot Kakuno (Extra fine nib) with Pilot IC-50 cartridge – writes very finely, very clear lines, but is very dry feeling, does not "glide", hard to get it to "move". I pretty much want a pen that feels like I'm scooting 100 degree Farenheit stick of butter across solid glass. Also I mostly can't get it to actually write? "Drops out" like it had bad grades and a drug problem, issues at home, etc. Feels great in the hand though.
4. Pilot Varsity (Medium nib) disposable no cartridge or converter – writes THE SMOOTHEST, I repeat IRREFUTABLY the smoothest of any pen I've ever used, but it spills so much fucking ink that my anti-legibility, anti-sensemaking handwriting become like egyptian hieroglyphics, most letters and words just look like I inhaled ink through a straw, and then sneezed on the page. Feels cheap and terrible in the hand, but damn is it smooth
5. Hong Dian M2 (Fine Nib) converter with Hong Dian Ink – this is MY FAVORITE FOUNTAIN PEN, even though I still consider it to be pretty iffy on almost every surface i've tried it on. It writes "wet", its consistent, it has never dropped out on me, it writes at a perfect thickness, and it slides across the page like an ice skate. Keep in mind I didn't say "glide", I said it "slides", like an ice skate. Preferably it would "glide" like 100 degree butter across solid glass. Feels amazing in the hand.
6. Pilot Writive (Fine Point) with Pilot IC-50 cartridge – Pretty much the same experience as the Kakuno, except it cuts out even more, it's scratchy and not buttery, and it feels very cheap.
7. LEMY Vista (medium Nib) with LEMY cartridge – Now, THIS is the one that actually made me want to make this post. It surprised me. It doesn't feel scratchy, since it is a medium nib, but it feels extremely, and I mean extremely DRY. It is the most "dry" feeling of all the fountain pens I have bought. It is like nails on a chalkboard multiplied by 100,000. I actually almost threw it across the room after writing a paragraph with it because of the nails-on-chalkboard, raking a spoon across cardboard feeling.
