So… GoDaddy renewal email just hit and my bill jumped again. Domains, privacy, ssl, random addons stacked, and the "easy" website builder feels more like fighting a crm than building a simple site.
For anyone who already bailed this year, did you split everything eg domains on Cloudflare or Namecheap and site on Wix or Squarespace, or just go all in on one platform. Wix keeps popping up in reviews and imo their editor is miles nicer than GoDaddy, but idk if mixing registrar plus Wix is asking for dns headaches for a tiny non tech business.
If youve done this recently would love any tips before I click renew and hate myself later, thanks!
