I’m pulling my hair out trying to get this to work

I’m at my wits end here. Currently struggling with getting any downloaded games to run on my Wii.

1st, I plugged in the DNS numbers to get the homebrew app directly on the Wii it’self. Which worked. (I think)

Then, I went on VIMMS lair and downloaded some games onto my ONN 16gb Flashdrive. (This is where the problem arises)

THE WII WONT READ THEM. At first I figured I needed to have a wbfs folder on the flashdrive and each game a designated folder labeled properly. (Because homebrew channel was reading the flash drive to say it has 0 game)

SO I CREATED THE FOLDERS AND NAMED THEM properly.

But now it’s recognizing the games as there, but there’s no cover photo for it, so I’m going in blind hovering over it hoping to find the right game in the blank catalog menus.

HOWEVER, it’s making it so when I try to boot up say “Super Mario Galaxy 2” it’ll show the title screen and the option to start, but when I do, it just restarts the homebrew channel asking me to load into the channel again and takes me back to the main menu.

I’ve switched ports for the USB and same issue arises.
I’ve provided photos if anyone could help that’d be awesome. Me and my gf were really looking forward to playing some nostalgic games and we’ve just been sitting for the past two days trying to crack it.
